Works like a charm
Works like a charm. I didnt find vibration horrible as some have mentioned. Can be a little tricky to get back together if you happen to extend them too far.

This is a very well made piece. Easy to mount and dismount. Would definitely recommend adding this to your lathe!

Ok for my purposes
Bought this to upgrade the chuck on my fishing rod turning machine. Jaws were very tight and required filing and stone work to make them open and close smoothly and with little effort. The chuck was a little off-center as well. No real fix for that except to rethread the head. The M16x1 thread is a small pain to adapt to, but is manageable with the right tools and die. If I bought this for my lathe, it would get 1 star and wouldn't have anything nice to say about it. I would've returned it. But, for my use, it's ok and the price was right.

Great product and customer service
We purchased this jaw chuck for the micro lathe Proxxon 37020 DB 250 MICRO Woodturning Lathe and it works great. It is easy to use and works great. The customer service is wonderful with Amazon and Proxxon. Thank you for selling such great products.

Wobbly Garbage
I hate to be harsh, but did anyone actually check this before shipping? Both the original and the replacement aren’t true. For a “precision” chuck, this junk is way way off. I am so disappointed with this and their lathe that I am sending everything back. Do yourself a favor and skip this chuck. It’s a great design with a poorly executed manufacturing process. This is my first tool and my LAST tool from Proxxon.
