My old chair randomly started dropping so I needed a new gas ram, this one had the same dimensions and it lifts a little higher, winner!

Nice and long gas lift. My office chair is a bit higher now which is great. Seems sturdy.Getting the old one out the chair was a bit tricky, but this just slotted in easily once that was done.

Good fit for my old Humanscale chair. It's a little stiffer in that it doesn't have the nice bounce of the real thing, but that's not really an issue that bothers me at the price.

Easy to fit and works well the hardest part was removing the old unit

I have an old chair which, from the very beginning, let the air out of its gas lift whever one sat down on it. I was wondering if it was the gas lift's or the mechanism's fault. Now, I know it was the mechanism. The brand new TUKA lift collapsed the same way. But with a new mechanism, the chair works perfectly well. One important thing I noticed, the TUKA lift has a button on the shaft higher than in most lifts I have: 1 cm. So if you have a tight space between the mechanism and the seat, or the seat bends under your weight, this may cause a self-collapse of the lift. However, the nice feature is that the metal at the bottom of the shaft is bent back, so it helps disassembly. It makes it easier to remove it from the base.

My office chair kept sinking and thought I'd try this rather than buy a new one. My old gas lift was really hard to remove - best advice is get a proper pipe wrench - I asked one of my neighbours who's a plumber and it came off in seconds after hours or trying to remove it myself without the right tools. This new gas lift slotted straight in and worked immediately. Overall very happy.

Very impressed by the gas cylinder. I am a light build person averaging 70kg. The gas cylinder minimum height was a bit too high. Yesterday I bought the smaller variant, it did not come in the package which actually is delivered today.Dear store owner: Can this be fixed? Maybe it has been forgotten? Regards

Ho acquistato questo pistone per sostituire il pistone danneggiato della mia sedia con rotelle che ho in camera, l'ho preso più corto dell'originale perchè anche se tutto abbassato era comunque troppo alto, questo è di 3 centimetri più basso ed è perfetto per come preferisco tenere la sedia io, sembra solido e ben fatto speriamo che duri a lungo.
