The scrub is thick and hard and doesn't come out of the tube very easily. The scrub doesn't spread around your skin, it just stays as a hard clump and eventually falls off in a big ball and gets washed down the drain. The oil from the scrub that gets on your skin doesn't come off. You have to use a second soap or scrub to get the oil off of your skin. It's not a light oil either, it's very heavy. The smell isn't that great. I love Okay's walnut exfoliant based face scrubs, this brown sugar scrub is a big disappointment.

This stuff is too hard to press out. If you can get any out the sugar crystals are so large they fall out of your hands.

The other reviewers are spot on. It does smell like lemon cleaner. It is hard to squeeze out and then doesn’t spread, just stays all clumpy. Whoever wrote the description for the bottle definitely did not try the product because it does NOT leave your skin clean, it leaves your skin with a THICK layer of oil. It’s a bummer I really wanted to like this since it isn’t full of chemicals and is made in the USA but it’s terrible.

Little bit of a dryer scrub (not drying for your skin though!) but if applied to wet skin or add a put of water to your hands and use it, it’s great. Really good price too. Thanks!
