The Arts of China, Sixth Edition, Revised and Expanded

Needed this book for a college class, but wasn't willing to pay the $65 for a new copy. I was hesitant to buy used but I bought a used copy labelled as "Very Good" for $20 total instead. Didn't have any notes or scribbles or anything. Really saved me the extra $45.

excellent explanations. not cheap but not overly expensive either. colored photos are so import. solid recommendation.

Do art history text books really need to be so dry and boring? Does the author need to show such gender/cultural bias? Should there be a total absence of additional online support resources? Emphatically NO! This should be a fascinating subject but Sullivan has succeeded in making it mind numbingly dull. He’s getting a whopping 2 stars from me, at That’s generous.
