Q: Is the bottom weighted?

Not really. The only weight on the bottom is from the magnets in the middle that attach the panels. The panels do not “curl or fold” up without a weighted bottom.

Q: Can i use velcro stickers on direct wall? I want it for arch type entry from hall to kitchen to prevent loss of cooling from hall.

Yes. We put the Velcro right on our walls. The door works great!

Q: Whats the difference between the EVA and the ethylene?

They’re same. It’s a vinyl based product, essentially a lot of plastic curtains are vinyl type material. Ethylene vinyl acetate (AVE) is one type and PVC is another type plastic made of vinyl chemical

Q: Will this work in place of a shower door?

No. It's a fiberglass screen. Water would go right through it. It won't tear like the fabric door screens but it's still a screen. A very durable tear proof screen.
