7CP02 BrakeAway Motorcycle Cruise Control For Sport Models

Beautifully crafted and thoughtfully designed. It feels super premium, with a really satisfying, precise click when engaging the lock. Someone compared it to Swiss watch quality and that’s spot on. Worth every penny.

First off it is a bit pricey but the quality and function more than make up for it. Installation went very well after watching their videos and it comes with a very detailed set of instructions to fall back while you are installing it. The fact that it disengages when you hit the front brakes makes a lot safer than other throttle locks on the market. It looks good too.

I bought this even though other Suzuki bikes were listed except for the Suzuki B king. Took a little bit of modification but it works perfectly. The rod had to be trimmed about half an inch and the support mount was installed upside down to make it work. Pretty happy with it

I've had BrakeAway throttle locks before and have been very happy with the quality. Although, about a year ago i contacted BrakeAway via phone about the fitment for my 2017 Honda VFR1200X. They didn't have a listing for fitment on this motorcycle and claimed that upon research and review they determined BrakeAway unit would possibly hit the fuel tank and therefore they did not have a unit for fitment for the Honda VFR1200. I think they confuse the VFR1200F (sport bike version) with the VFR1200X (ADV). After doing my own researching and meticulous measuring of all the different Honda BrakeAway units. I was able to determine that the 7CP02 was the best fit for the 2016 -2017 Honda VFR1200X model. It fits and works perfectly without any modification. Also the 7CP02 model doesn't come any where near hitting the tank. I'm happy again to have this on another bike again, but just a little disappointed that the customer support was dead set on no fitment recommendation for my motorcycle. because I had to do the leg work to find the fitment for my bike; For that reason i deducted a star. Overall the product is great quality.

Easy to install if you follow the instructions. Definitely gives your hand a break. I found myself making numerous small adjustments to throttle for the changes in slope. I really like that it kicks off just by hitting the brake lever.

I love this cruise control it’s amazing easy to install, you have to follow instructions good, price it’s a little high but it’s worth it, i love it match really good. i installed it on a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 400 very happy with product

I have this type throttle on all the motorcycles I own & the ones I used to have. They work great & in a panic stop when you hit the brake, it automatically disengages.

Works great however, I do wish this available in black. Great quality. Easy to install. Definitely would buy again!!!
