Great book

This is a really good book! I would recommend it for an intermediate level musician who already has a good grasp on general musicianship who possesses a decent level of skill on the instrument, who is seeking a good overview of the country idiom. The lessons in this book will provide you with plenty of material that will allow you to add believable country vocabulary to your solo and accompaniment playing.The lessons are short, and are in standard notation and tab. The accompanying CDs are well recorded, and offer extra insight on how to make the lessons sound just right!I would highly recommend this book!

Ioo country licks would have more aptly described this book. Over all it is a great book for a intermediate to expert player. It does offer a chance for the beginner to become a better player but will require a lot of study.

Clearly laid out. Very challenging material that helps me in bite sized pieces. I would suggest writing in the book and making it your own. Take notes of metronome tempo and other things so that you can chart your progress. Maybe keep a journal of things you’ve learned because 100 is a lot to remember.

My fiance' LOVES this!! I was not sure it was going to be something he would like because he is in a band and I figured he would know all the lessons so it was a coin toss for me to get this for a christmas gift but when he opened this , it was the greatest gift- very well made book and Thanks for a great product and will order again for sure.

Would give it a 5 star review, but according to the product description you should find a code in the book that you can then use to get access to the online audio content. Well the book that I got has no code only the CDs. Nowadays laptops don't come with CDs so I had to fire off an old laptop, convert the files to MP3, put on a memory stick then transfer to my current laptop. Would of been much easier to access the audio content online.

Not sure why there are some harsh reviews on this book. Each lesson is 2 pages and includes about 5-7 licks. There is pretty much every type of country licks within this book and it is tremendous value for the money. The authors also clearly explain the theory behind pretty much every licksa. If you are just starting out it's probably not the book for you but it is a very good supplement.
