Couldn't be happier
Got this for my 9 year old daughter who has been playing soccer for 5 years now. She loves that she can kick around when I'm busy, and we've used it together taking turns and even passing off of it at angles. Pros: * Put it together by myself in about 25 minutes, and only needed a little help stretching the net on. Directions were easy to follow and it is well designed and easy to assemble. One note on assembly - you'll only get 4 bolts with wingnuts and washers, but you'll swear you need 6 screws. That's because the front base screws are already screwed in so you'll just need to unscrew them, line up the pieces, and screw them back in. I panicked for a moment until I looked at the ends of the base pipes. Another assembly note - don't just start putting it together in part-number order. The parts are numbered, but follow the direction. Really, it's easier that way. * Durable parts - nothing feels flimsy at all, especially the net once it's stretched on. You might scratch the white enamel on the pipes if you drag it across a driveway, but other than that, it doesn't feel like it'll bend or warp at all. * Great rebound - the ball really pops off the net. You do need to get the ball up off the ground for it to rebound properly, but that wasn't a problem for my 9-yr old daughter. The rebound snaps off the net, requiring the kicker to really be prepared and on the balls of her feet to get the rebound. No kicking and standing and watching with this! Oh, and you don't have to hit the sweetspot to get a good rebound, it just needs to be off the ground. My daughter loves aiming for the center though. *Light weight - it's easy enough for my daughter to carry/drag in and out of the garage by herself (just make sure your car is out of the way). Not Really Cons - Not sure these are really cons, but things to consider * There's really no undoing of this goal once it's together. I don't plan on taking this to practice, but if I wanted to take it to the park, it would take some effort. It *MIGHT* fit into the back of my crossover, I haven't tried yet. * You'll want to use the U-hooks to hold the goal in place. This isn't an issue, but I've read some reviews that said it fell over easy with good strikes. It will, so just use the hooks. Using the hooks, I haven't had any trouble with the goal tipping over. And you'll definitely need them if you angle it beyond the 90 degrees, but again, this isn't an issue, just push/pound them in. OVERALL - I asked my daughter to add to my review, here's what she said: "I LOVE my new goal. I love that I can play by myself in the yard, and I love that I can get it out of the garage myself (though I prefer my dad to set it up for me). It's great that the ball comes back to me and I don't have to chase it unless I miss the rebound. It really keeps me on my toes!" So there you have it, straight from the kid's mouth. I couldn't be happier with its durability, the size and quality, and I love that it's got my kid out practicing without me.

Great product, even better company!
This is a great rebounder. Works perfectly for both my 8 year-old and me. It's affordable and sturdy and exactly the right size for shooting and passing practice. (It's about the size of the goals in his league.) I can't express the importance of buying from a well-established, domestic company. Honestly, I do not have any issues with non-American owned companies. It happened that the net ripped at the point of contact with one of the bungee cords. The product seems very sturdy. The ball just hit the connection point just right. After it ripped, I reached out directly to Franklin (via the direct communication like on their Amazon site). They replied in less than 24 hours to apologize and inform me that they'll request a replacement. Received another email from their warehouse the next morning that it shipped. It arrived about three days later. I'd absolutely recommend this rebounder over any other off-brand you find on Amazon. Not only is it a great rebounder, but it is built and backed by a reputable company.

Very useful, overall good system
We bought this rebounder while on sale for our 14 year old son at Christmas and set it up in the yard a couple of months later. He uses it on a regular basis and enjoys having it to kick against for soccer practice in our yard. It returns the ball well and has been used by all of us in the family so far with equal results. We have had a couple of issues which is why I only gave it four stars. Assembly wasn't too bad, but it did help to read some of the other reviews before assembling. Just do your best to spread the elastic ties evenly around the frame/net. The elastic ties are not real high quality and have begun to break already so we ordered a bag of 6" ties from another vendor to replace the breaking ones. They seem more heavy duty, so we'll see how they do. The net has done well, other than an incident when another child got too close and accidentally stepped on it and broke a length of netting near the bottom. I was able to "patch" it with some mason line from Home Depot and it seems to be holding together okay and maintain its spring. Our biggest challenge seems to be keeping it in place. The spiral anchors are challenging to get into our ground and the hoop anchors pull up pretty quickly. We picked up a few solid tent stakes from a local recreation outlet store and have used those to help hold the front legs in place. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and give it very little thought while it's sitting in the yard being used by the kids. **UPDATE - 28 Jun 2019** Four years later and it is still in use and on the same net which we leave outside all year. We're on our second 25 count bag of the tie downs. I just keep a bag around and the kids replace them as the pop. (Kotap BB-6B Ball Bungee, 6-Inch, Black, 25-Piece) The paint on the lower bars is fading off, probably in part to usually being in the yard and getting watered all summer. I'm deciding whether it's worth the effort to clean up those bits and repaint it. We don't bother to stake it down anymore unless someone really wants to pound it. For casual use it seems to do fine without them. We are in the Western states where it is pretty dry most of the time.

This is a great piece of equipment! Easy to assemble, quality materials and sturdy construction. My daughters love it, use it every single day and beat the absolute hell out of it. The net has held up remarkably well in spite of being permanently left outside in the elements. Our bungee cords have survived, but they will surely start to break down over time and begin to fail. I ordered an extra set so that I can replace them as it happens. The replacement cords are not expensive. Well worth the money, and we would highly recommend it.

My son LOVES this. He is 12 and plays at an academy level. (They kick HARD). Since getting this his reaction times, passing, shooting and receiving passes has improved significantly. He was previously kicking holes in the wood fence but with this my fence is protected and he gets the added challenge of anticipating the return. It’s super sturdy and holding up amazingly after two months of daily hard hits.
