Read the reviews (they are truthful and helpful).Timing: It took close to 3 weeks for me to receive my dresser. The dresser ships from the West Coast (I live on the East Coast).Quality: A NEW dresser that costs hundreds of dollars should be perfect, not the case with this one. The dresser is sturdy, but I wouldn't define it as 'high quality.' The drawers only open up to 80%, which makes it difficult to store, and remove items from the back of the dresser drawers. The drawers do not 'glide' very easily. There is a area on the bottom of the dresser that is not covered in black paint, about the size of an 18" hair strand. I didn't find it worthwhile to wait 3 weeks for another dresser to have the same issue (as someone else had noted with their feedback), so I kept the one originally mailed.Shipment: The dresser was protected VERY well. I do not discriminate. However, CEVA delivered my dresser. They sent two older gentlemen. One complained the ENTIRE time about how old he was, and how heavy the dresser was. He guilted me into giving them a tip, and told me they were only required to deliver the item to the doorway (the dresser could not fit in my foyer). It was BY FAR the worst delivery experience I have ever had. I also saw them THROW around another item (thankfully it wasn't mine) - when trying to get to my dresser.

The dresser is ok but I caution you. It is delivered pre-assembled which sounds great in theory but ships through a freight company and only delivers to the curb. This was a problem for me as I live on the 4th floor of an apartment building and transporting it to my unit was a challenge. Upon delivery I inspected what I could, the packaging was in tact and had no visible signs of damage, but I was unable to completely unbox the item because of the likelihood of it becoming damaged as It was carried upstairs. After unboxing the dresser I noticed several imperfections, one being a huge gaping hole on the bottom, underneath the last drawer. The manufacturer attempted to repair the damage by stapling a piece of heavy duty cardboard to cover the hole, but it came unattached. This drawer also has a broken track which makes it incredibly difficult to open and close the drawer. There is also a broken bar underneath another drawer making it difficult to completely close.Despite these flaws, I decided to keep the dresser because the damage is not outwardly visible, and the hassle would be far greater to ship back.I also noticed some other small cosmetic damages, but again, the hassle would be greater to ship back. The item shipped in a reasonable amount of time( I believe 7-10 days) and the vendor kept me well informed on the status.From my experience I will never order pre-assembled furniture or ship through a curbside freight company. Had I realized that prior to my purchase, I most likely would not have ordered. I will also never be purchasing 'Coaster' product again because as a rep in the sales field, knowingly passing used or damaged product off as new without the customer's consent is a very bad practice not to mention a clear advertisement of poor quality.Order with caution.

I bought this for the style and was willing to compromise on quality a little bit. The drawers slide nicely. It was delivered early in the morning via a freight company. I opened it and inspected it before the driver left and everything looked fine. It was a cold day, below 20 degrees. I left it in my garage, which due to its insulation is about 50 degrees. When I returned home from work at the end of the day, there was a huge section of the backing that broke and the rest of it was really wavy. This was kinda shocking, but it is unseen and did not affect the function, so I just accepted it and moved on.The knobs seem to constantly come loose, though they don't fall off. And one of the knobs seems to have been screwed on a little too tightly and caused a slight damage to the black front coating, but it isn't really noticeable. I'm pretty critical, but I can also live with these small flaws.And besides, it REALLY pulls the room together. I would buy it again.

This dresser is solid--the back was a little bowed, but it is not something you see and it does not affect its functionality. The issue for us was that the drawers do not slide out AND the piece is super heavy. This made getting it up our narrow staircase very tricky. We like the way it looks, though, and the price was decent.

This is a good dresser. The drawers slide well, like they're real wood. It matched my bedroom set perfectly. The shipping company was great. The driver delivered right into my apartment (single story). There are 2 cracks in the wood between the drawers. I'm guessing these happened during shipping. The dresser is pretty heavy, so if tilted the wrong way the dresser might splinter from the weight. It was wrapped in 2 cardboard boxes.

Looked great when delivered, good initial build quality. 1 drawer slides a little harder than the rest, but it's not horrible. The issue I have is after using for some time, the front trim piece is separating where the two boards come together (it's not a solid peice of trim across the front) which leaves a zigzag pattern that is light wood color. It stands out enough to be annoying when you look at the dresser.The rest of the dresser is great. The drawers are a good size. I wouldn't get any smaller of a dresser for the master unless I had more storage, and we still need to keep our jeans elsewhere. For the price range, it's a good buy in my opinion.

Love Love Love!! I ordered the black dresser preassembled for my 8year olds bedroom. I was sooo tired of putting things together and so happy I found this. Very sturdy. Delivered with no problems on a pallet, early. They could not deliver inside but placed in garage where I inspected. I didn’t even see one scratch! Very happy with this purchase, it just brought life to my sons dinosaur room. Drawers are deep. I have no complaints. Most definitely could be used in a adults room as well. Beautiful, well-made dresser.
