Bought these as my other one that came with my portrait are no longer sticky and they seem to be working great, appreciated the price. Will definitely be buying again.

I used them to make some stickers and they worked perfectly. I see no diference between them and the brand name ones. They are sticky just like they are supposed to be, and I have bent them a few times taking the paper out and they have not shown any signs of breaking. I highly recommend them. Great value!

I purchased standard grip. The mat grips my vinyl with the perfect amount of adhesion. I would perhaps be wary of using them for paper crafts because they are very sticky. The mat itself is thick and durable. I see no need to purchase the Silhouette brand as opposed to these off brand mats. I am thrilled that I don't have to pay full price for excellent quality.

I finally tried doing a cut with my new cutting mats. Right away, I noticed that the thickness of this mat was slightly thicker than the one that came with my silhouette so I was a little apprehensive with using it. There didn't seem to feeding the mat into my portrait however, i noticed that the htv started rolling away from the mat. I made two different cuts with heat transfer vinyl and felt that the adhesive wasn't as tacky compared to the silhouette brand mats. All in all, I still think the Somolux mats are worth buying. I'll trying using a roller to see if it'll make the heat transfer vinyl stick better. If it doesn't, I'll keep these for the removable or permanent vinyls.

I recently moved and couldn't find where I put my silhouette mat. I ordered these from Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. You get a pack of 3, they are very thick, I cannot speak on the adhesion as I just use washi tape to secure my paper down (same thing I did with my silhouette mat). I was nervous this wouldn't cut my stickers right from a different review, but it worked perfectly the first time! Highly recommend.

So far I put one through the wringer making Paper flowers and it's still sticky but does not ruin the paper if you remove it gently. The price can't be beat for three mats.UPDATEi saw instructions that you can gently wash the mat when its gets grimy and it will retain its stickiness. This is 100% TRUE. i gently washed my mat with dish soap and a soft sponge and let it air dry. When it was dry it was back to normal tack and nicely clean. this means that the life of these mats will be at least double the others and you get three of them. Do not hesitate to Buy!!! I am using a silhouette portrait 2 and have had no problems with loading or cutting.

**This review is my first impression upon receiving and having used these mats. Review will be updated if anything new happens.**I was pleasantly surprised to find that these mats worked just as well as the original that came with my machine!The mass of the original silhouette mat is 26.7g, and these Somolux ones are 50.0g -- almost double of the original (mass taken without protective covering). You can certainly feel the difference in the two just by holding them and comparing. The Somolux ones are noticeably thicker (and bend less), which gives it a more premium feel.After first use, I did notice that the mat's adhesion was slightly weaker than the original silhouette mat's in that my sticker paper did not get torn to shreds when I removed it from the mat. In fact, I was able to take it off completely clean. There was no sticky residue left over on my stickers either, so that's a good sign. I am confident enough to say that you won't need to de-stick the mat on a fuzzy towel before first use. As for how long the adhesive will last, only time will tell. I usually do small sticker restocks once a week, so I'd estimate a single mat should probably last several monthsI did cut up an old Cricut mat to use as a DIY cutting mat for my machine before I bought these, but I found that it was a little too thick so my cut settings were no longer right (not cutting all the way through). I was half expecting that to be the same case on these mats since it was thicker, but I was again surprised that my die cut settings worked without a hitch. I have yet to test my kiss cut settings and I also have yet to try out different materials, but I hope that I won't have to adjust them like I did on my DIY mat.My only small complaint is that these off-brand mats do not have the little markings to show you where to line up your A4/ Letter paper, but that was an easy enough fix for me. Es más grueso que los de la marca silohuette, a mi máquina le cuesta un poco meterlo para hacer el corte, aún así he podido trabajar con el, la ventaja de que trae 3 es que en lo que saco el corte de uno de ellos puedo seguir cortando y me ahorra mucho tiempo

i couldn't find standard portrait mats anywhere for my silhouette so i got these and they are so nice! They have very sticky, so you need to be careful when peeling off your sheets of paper. The grid is the right size and the mat lines up perfectly in the machine for print then cut. The mats are thick and sturdy. Would buy again!
