Somotersea Ceramic Piggy Bank for Kids Coin Bank for Boys and Girls Unique Birthday Gift Nursery Decor Piggy Banks Blue (5x5x4inch)

I was looking for two small piggy banks to fill over time. I want to stuff them with bills and dollar coins over the next year or two, and gift them to my grandkids, likely to go toward a first used car for one and a senior class trip for the other. Specifically, I wanted banks that had to be broken open to access the money, adding to the excitement of receiving the gift. Oddly, those banks can get expensive and some are large. This bank has a rubber plug on the underside to access contents, so I used E-6000 adhesive to permanently glue the plug in place. When they are full and gifted, they can be broken open with ease, as they're ceramic. They are so cute...the paint job is perfect, and they were packaged well and in perfect condition.

I like how it's ceramic and the kids can break it when it's full. I wish the entire thing is sealed at the bottom without access to cash. I glued the bottom so it can't be open.

This is a very cute piggy bank, not large but just the right size for our 3 yr old to hold and put her coins in.

Purchased for our 3 1/2 yr old grandson who asked for a piggybank for Christmas. He wanted a piggy bank, very specifically.... not just a bank that holds coins. It is still under the Christmas tree but the size was perfect for him. It looks just like the picture. Although breakable, it is sturdy and solid and has a secure tab so the money can't be taken out without help from a grown-up. It is cheerful and cute. Rated 4 stars simply because the box it came in was mildly crushed. But is was well protected on the inside so no worries. I think he is going to love it!

La alcancía que recibes está bien, no es tan bonita como en las fotos pero está bien pintada y bien protegida. El tamaño si es un poco grande más o menos como una toronja grande o un melón pequeño. La tapa inferior para sacar las monedas es de poca calidad y desentona con el diseño de la alcancía.Si buscas un adorno colorido y para iniciar el hábito del ahorro en tu familia puede la alcancía te será útil aunque siempre tendrás el gusanito de que podrías tener algo más bonito por el mismo precio o un precio un poquito mayor.

There is a lot of imperfections. Chipping paint, random drops of paint, a poke in the face and the feet are not smooth. For 26$ you expect it to look like the picture but this one looks rushed and made without care.
