I was not sure what to expect with this candle in terms of scent but was very happily surprised. I had tried a peppermint blend candle from this same candle-maker before--Big Dipper is my favorite established company for beeswax candles and I love or like almost all their scents--but the previous peppermint combo smelled too much like muscle rub so I was nervous. But this one is just lovely: More soothing than the lavender alone; the mint relieves tension and makes breathing easier, while the natural lavender scent predominates with its usual beneficial effects. I will certainly buy it again!

I would recommend this candle. With it being beeswax which helps clean the air it also has a very nice fragrance.

Although this candle made my room smell great, it produced soot
