Top Praise & Worship Instrumental Solos for Strings: Cello (Book & CD) (Alfred's Instrumental Play-Along) Paperback – January 1, 2010

Even though I am a beginner at playing the cello, I do not see how anyone can play the music turning pages while playing the cello. Why couldn't the cello music be put onto a single page, and perhaps a larger font? Otherwise, I love cd audio tracks...was my original review, in which Amazon failed to include the TOO "easily removable" cello portion, and only provided 67 pages of piano accompaniment, and not the advertised 92 pages with cello music insert. Fortunately, after realizing Amazon's error and spending time with Customer Care, Amazon made amends. GoodwillSR's used book came with the cello portion that I needed to play without squinting to read the tiny cello lines and flipping multiple pages per song. Now it is much more enjoyable, for both me and my husband!! Thank you Amazon for fixing error. And thank you GoodwillSR for getting me my cello music!

I have been playing my cello at church for several years. I have mostly played hymns and I was looking for a book that had some of the more popular contemporary songs. This book satisfies that criteria! It has several very popular songs, many of which are performed by Chris Tomlin. The songs are at a fairly easy level but rich enough to be interesting. The background accompaniment is very good as well. I just performed two of the songs this past week at my service.

This music book is just what I was looking for. The songs are all my favorites! The arrangements are good. The print is easy to read. I am a beginning to intermediate cello student and this book is perfectly suited to my skill level. I only wish the words had been included. I hope the maker will put together more books like this one with other top contemporary Christian music soon!

The pullout cello part wass missing. I should have paid attention to the other reviewers who also experienced this.

Great for enjoyable playing

I was looking forward to this book. But when I got it it only has the piano part to follow along with cello , so this is useless.

I purchased this book for myself. I am learning the cello and wanted to be able to have some worship tunes to practice. They are a challenge I am enjoying having a go!
