FORLIFE Stump Teapot with SLS Lid and Infuser, 18-Ounce, Black Graphite

I have to be honest, ive used this item in the past... I first encountered it at a cafe in Cambridge... you could tell by the wear it had be through hundreds of uses, dropped, run through a commercial conveyor washer, etc. It was small, simple and easy to control.The current version is no different. I don't recall the older ones having a plastic handle in the filter, but perhaps it simply broke off after its thousandth use? This particular item is simple and sturdy... It will both last for years to come and come out the other end still looking good. You don't have to hold the lid down when you pour--which is a huge thing for me having a minor form of cerebral palsy--though if you're nervous you can apply counter pressure to the stainless steel tab... It can fill a normal 280ml (6oz) cup 3 times... Allowing me to drink my morning tea with milk, without tainting anything more than my own cup... The lid does not come off, but thats ok with me... it can be cleaned with a basic sink brush and some mild cleaner (vinegar) or abrasive (baking soda). Another interesting thing in my opinion is that the filter just happens to fit well in my daughter's old sippy cup, with a lid ( The First Years Take & Toss Spill-Proof Sippy Cups, 10 Ounce, 4 Count )... allowing me to stop the steep on something i can use multiple times while also protecting it from spills, dust, cats, etc. The benefit to that is after you dump out the bulk of the leaves, the cup is then almost a perfect vessel to fill with water, shake and pour out the couple of remaining that stick to the filter. My favorite benefit though is that they stack. The bottom raised ring on the vessel fits on top of the lid of another, allowing you to safely store a couple, while taking up a minimum of space.. Very nice for the times when my wife and i would like to share tea time, while also drinking the kind we each prefer.

Love this brand of tea pots! Very sturdy, great deep tea leaf basket which is easy to clean, and no dribble spout! This size is perfect for one person to have two decent size cups of tea. Love the deep orange color. Wish they still made this acorn shape in the larger size though, would love for them to bring that back, with this acorn shape, having the fatter base means no tipping over or spilling.

This pot was a gift to myself as I discover the joy in a few cups of daily tea.I first saw this in an Ann Arbor coffee shop, and fell for the simple, durable and elegant design. I liked how I could see how well it held up in a restaurant setting. As a potter, I found myself being particular on what teapot design spoke to me. This was a winner: The white is beautiful, the pot easy to clean, holds about 2-3 cups of tea, and keeps it nice and warm. The spout pours it well, and while there may be a little drip here and there, it's likely operator error. Inside metal basket with plastic handle does a great job holding the tea bags/leaves. Also happy with the level of detail on chemical components of clay and glaze provided on website.This teapot helps me ease into the day with a beautiful new ritual. Great price. Beautiful design. Very pleased.

I didn't realize how small 18 ounces is. It will serve it's purpose for 1 to 2 small cups of tea but I was thinking it would have been larger for some reason. Not a problem, as we drink one cup I can make another pot to brew so it will be hot.Really nice placement of the inside tea strainer. It's a metal basket that reaches down low so if you only make 1 cup/half the pot, it will still brew your tea nicely. The metal lid stays in place as you're pouring. One other really nice design is that these pots can all stack one on top of the other. You can also keep your cup of tea on top of the metal lid of the tea pot to help keep it warm while drinking, or stack another pot on top to brew and have 2 different teas.I think if this breaks I would miss it and buy another...even if it is small.ETA: I changed the 4 star rating to 5 stars...I love it! After a few uses, it's the best teapot I've used so far...albeit small. Not one drip or dribble from the spout at all. The spout is a bit shorter so it won't get chipped or broken as easily. For those who say they are experiencing drips and dribbles from this teapot - you are pouring the tea too fast...just slow down and don't tip the pot so fast in the beginning. Let the flow of tea go at it's own rate and you won't have mishaps. Excellent product.

Likely the best teapot available. Tight seal to brew the tea. Pretty colors. Fairly perfect. Maybe slightly hard to deep-clean; I recommend soaking in hot water and baking soda every few months.

A well designed piece from a brand whose name suggests seriousness. Have had teapots from FORLIFE before and so know they are serious.This one is very functional. Made in a factory, with no exceptional features, so the profit margin on this is crazy high. But since so much can be wrong in a teapot design... sigh... you can hold your nose and pay thru the roof with this one. And hopefully use the teapot a lot, so as to justify the outlay.

Pleased with product. It’s as described and makes one large mug or two teacups. There are no drips from the spout on pouring and the hinged lid remains closed.A small modification to the strainer would make removing the used tea leaves easier. That is for the strainer mesh to go over the rim of the strainer and not under. In that way leaves would not be trapped by the rim.

We have been using this type of teapot for a number of years now, and have found it to be the perfect pot:- fits a good amount of tea (0.5l)- keeps the tea fairly hot for a decent amount of time- no dripping when the tea is poured- sturdy and resilient (travels well in luggage if you need your teapot with you on your journeys)- easy to handle, dishwasher-safe, but also fairly easy to clean by hand- aesthetically pleasing design, large variety of colours- reasonably priced- the infuser included with the pot has a fine mesh, and is also easy to clean- comes in two sizes
