Jakks Pacific Fully Charged – Deluxe Drill Man Articulated Action Figure with Spinning Drills and Drill Man Buster Accessory (to swap onto the Mega Man figure)! Based on the new show!

My son recently discovered the Megaman franchise, including the fully charged TV show. This was one of the ones he asked of Santa for Christmas. So far, it has withstood him and his brother.

Drill man look awsome his legs come of sometimes but it is called a ball joint many jakks pacific figures has them definitely someone if they like mega man 4 though I doubt people play this game

I bought this guy on the strength of his unique looks, and because he reminds me of a favorite anime show, Gurren Lagann. His styling is simultaneously sleek and chunky, with simple but effective sculpted and painted detail, and a nice size and heft. As his name implies, this guy is COVERED in drills. The two on his arms spin reasonably well when you push a button on each arm. Not the most fun or most reliable spin gimmick I've ever seen, but it works. The big drill on top of his "head" seems like it should be geared to spin, but is not. It can't rotate freely and clicks hard if you turn it far enough. A bit confusing. He's got two small drills on his shoulders that move up and down but don't spin. Finally, he's got one that comes detached in package, but actually fits into a small hole in his back, which does spin freely. Articulation is good, considering he seemed like he might be simplified. Hinged knees and elbows, somewhat restricted but universal jointed hips and shoulders. He really ought to have a waist swivel, and does not, which is a shame since he has no discreet head to speak of, and so you can't pose him looking in different directions at all. Still, it's enough to get some really fun, dramatic poses (those little shoulder drills help with that), and you can even almost transform him into a drilling vehicle by pointing all the drills upwards. Good imaginary play! Drill Man fits into a nice middle ground between "collector" toys and little kid toys, and is both fun to play with and cool to look at. He also scales nicely with a classic Megaman model kit figure I have. I even managed to fit the drill "buster" piece this figure comes with, meant for this line's Megaman figure, onto my Megaman's arm. Bonus!

My son is obsessed with mega man toys. Thank goodness the Fully Charged series have come out with some durable toys for kids. The other kinds of mega man figures we’ve tried to buy have broken too easily as I think they were more meant for grown up kids - collectors - and instead these new series offer a lot of play time with parts that pop on and off without breaking. Nice!

This is my 5 year old son’s favorite toy. He crashes it together in “battles” against his other mega man. Sometimes the leg falls off, but I’m able to snap it back on. The drills make a satisfying sound when he cranks them. I like that it’s not battery powered so that it is not a consistent sound. He’s much bigger than megaman which is kind of fun for him, too.

My grandson loves this toy. It was much bigger than he thought it would be and he’s been having so much fun!

Item arrived very quickly. Gave this to my godson who's a huge Mega Man fan and he was over the moon for this figure. Item seems sturdy enough with a lot of play value.
