I'm sorry but no, however you can put the lead into a normal pencil sharpener. Just take your time as not to break the. Lead. Hopens that helps

This pencil is made of metal. I have had no problems with it in the rain, except of course, the carbon will run in the water, just as any pencil will.

Q: Is the red lead an actual 'crayon' type, as people have described, OR a grease-pencil/china-marker? Crayons have a weaker construction/composition.

The red maker is the Crayon type, perfect for construction. The white is a soap stone for metal and idem like that.
