I am using these alongside LED RGBW fixtures for general stage lighting during outdoor events where performances are in both daylight and darkness and all sorts of weather. I have 8 x 100W versions of these. The good points:- - They look the part, similar to slimline PAR56 fixtures - The brackets can be attached to 50mm lighting clamps - They are very bright with a useful 120 degree beam angle - They are IP rated - They have holes all around the edge where gel holders could be attached - With the right dimmers (proper trailing edge LED dimmers) they can be crudely dimmed. Don't tell anyone or the supplier will charge more. There is no mention of dimmining so no guarantee that all batches will have this capability, but I was lucky and found it by chance. Not so good:- - They flicker at 50Hz. This manifests itself if you move your hands quickly sideways under them. There is a strobe effect. There is obviously no smoothing capacitor in the internal power supply - but if there was they would not dim!! - They dim to about 20% then turn off. The turn-on point is higher than the turn-off point. This is common with dimmable LEDs. Overall they are ideal for my application, and mean I can run a powerful stage rig off a single 13amp supply.

I bought 6 of these lamps in December 2019 - fitted them towards the end of January 2020! they operate ~8 hours a day, 5 days a week.. Today (June 2021) 16 months later 3 of them simultaneously have ceased to work!! ~3,200 hours of operating time or just over 10% of what is implied on the specification!!! The 12 months warranty is no longer valid and even if it was it would only cover you for 8,760 hours of operation 24 hours a day!! basically the claim of 30,000 use in my case is rubbish and buyers beware of this claim as it isn't warranted by the company.. The product is good value only if it lives up to its claims - check the warranty people - 3 years would have been more relevant!!!!

What a total bargain. Nicely constructed . So bright it’s unbelievable. Even the small 100w version lights up my garage bench like a photo studio . Great purchase.

Although I am very pleased with this light, there are a few things that I feel make it less than 5-star: •It’s not as bright as I’d expect a 100w LED. •though it states 6000-6500k, it’s actually “warmer” than other LED lamps rated the same colour. There’s no plug so it needs hard wiring. I’m an engineer, very used to working with LEDs and other lighting. I’m using this at home for an aquarium with plants. It projects the light far better than other LEDs and it is extremely robust and well made. Nearly 5 stars if it were brighter and whiter.

The best garage light yiu could get, easy to fit, low profile. Does not have a long life - but easy to fit and easy to replace. You might want to fit a plug on the end.
