BOSHIYA Fullmetal Alchemist Pocket Watch with Chain Box for Cosplay Accessories Anime Merch

I bought this as a gift for someone. I opened it to look at it and the details where amazing on it. I loved the packaging nothing got damaged. I enjoy it came with multiple chains so even if it falls out of you pocket it will stay safe. I'm concerning getting another I love pocket watches and this one definitely worth getting.

Amazing detail and design

The media could not be loaded. I've been wanting one of these watches since 2012. I've looked at a ton of them online in the last 6 years but I finally gave in and got this one. All of the mixed reviews for various watches always made me very wary of buying.I just got this today and for now it's pretty good! It's comes boxed and wrapped in gray sponge. It comes with a long thick chain that can attach to a belt loop or jeans, like the one in the anime, and a thin necklace chain (which I doubt I'll be using, but I'll save it for the future).The watch time is easy to set, just remove the tiny white plastic tab under the knob, turn the knob until the watch hands go to the correct time, and press the knob/button down to make the clock nice.The "Don't forget 3. Oct. 11" is not engraved into the watch lid, but printed on top. "Fullmetal Alchemist" is embossed in the back.I don't want to worry about opening the watch though. In the show, it doesn't even get opened much. It's actually alchemized shut until Winry pried it open. I don't think the actual watch had an alchemic circle on the clock face but every version of the watch has it anyway. No watch will actually be as big as the one in the anime.TL;DR: This is a good watch for a good price. I'll keep you all updated if things change.

It’s pretty good but the inside does look a little cheap but can’t really complain for the price. It was a gift for my husband because full metal is his favorite anime. He loved it anyways.

Everything about this is great. I've been wearing it as an edc (everyday carry) item all week, which includes working in a machine shop. So far there is no damage to this watch. The lanyard chain is solid, the ticking of the clock is ever so satisfying, the attention to detail is perfect in my opinion, and the finish on the watch is amazing it feels so soft! I was able to set the time without a problem and hasn't drifted out of sync. Not sure if you can replace the battery yet, looks like the back just unscrew but I don't for see having to change it anytime soon. So as a prop or an actual pocket watch I don't think you can beat this for the price. 10 outta 10 would bang again.

It’s not going to look EXACTLY like the watch from the animes, there’s very subtle differences, but in my opinion it looks better, as if it was a real worl adaptation. On the inside it’s not technically engraved, but the watch still looks good and it works pretty good. The time stays accurate, I haven’t had to readjust it once, though I’d recommend not bumping around and dropping it, pocket watches are easy to break if you’re not careful. You never know how fragile the internal mechanism could be so treat it with care.Overall, I’d say it was very much worth the money.

The watch functions as expected for me, and the design looks great. If you're looking to cosplay, this is worth the buy. If you are looking for a fully authentic watch, there are a few inaccuracies. The "Don't forget" message is obviously not etched in, but it is technically facing the wrong way. Another thing is the crest on the face of the watch. Not only is that not accurate to the manga/anime, you have to squint a little bit every time you glance at the time, as it can often hide the clock hands. However these complaints are only minor, I believe you get more than the price is worth.
