I used these light in the bottom of a metal tub filled with ice and water bottles for my daughter's graduation party. You can easily change the light color with the remotes and I originally planned to have them all red for my daughter's chosen college but the fade option was so cool I used that and the lights faded through the entire spectrum of colors! The lights were lit and submerged in ice water for 5 hours of uninterrupted use. Not a single flicker or issue. The light is vibrant and colorful and made the entire tub glow. As soon as the party was over, I removed the lights, dried them off, opened them up, and removed the batteries. I will store them for future use as they were really cool! Well worth the money. Purchased for use in Jack-o'-Lanterns, so the hope was (A) not affected my moisture, (B) as bright or brighter than 1-2 candles, (C) last 8+ hours on a set of batteries, and (D) last for many years.While I can't speak to (D), they did well in 'early testing' --(A) Not affected by moisture: Check! Not surprising. To test, left one swaddled in wet paper towels in a glass dish. I've never had carved pumpkins be that damp, but if the rain came down hard and/or sideways, I'm confident these will be fine.(B) Big time yes! Brighter than four tea light candles, or two 'regular' stubbies.(C) This was probably the best part. On year-old Amazon Basics batteries, ran for 29 hours. They did get appreciably dimmer (about half) between hour 12 and 13. Come Halloween, I'll probably use rechargeable batteries instead (which, in my experience, last about half as long, and in LED lights, are slightly less bright than single-use batteries).I'll update the review after Halloween, if anything was better/worse.

I was pleasantly surprised. We used these in a water fountain and they are lovely. Bright multiple colors. (We don’t leave them in the water when not in use, but I’ve run them for 5-6 hours at a time, maybe more, and no battery replacement needed yet. ) They are easy to use.Sometimes you have to be within two feet of the light for it to react to the remote control, but that is fine for our use. (I note that if this was in a pool 4 or 5 feet down in the water it might be an issue unless you were going to dive down to retrieve the light first- but I don’t know. )We got 4 remotes. Each remote works for all 4 lights so it’s like we have 3 back up remotes. It could be useful if you wanted one for each table.It really does bring beauty to our back yard garden. I would buy these again and recommend them.

I liked these when they first came in. Placed them in my palm tree's where no water will hit it. I use a drip irrigation system, so easy to keep light away from water. They provided a nice ambiance for the garden area. I only used them a few times over the weeks as we haven't gotten out to the back yard much. After about seven uses (approx. 3hrs each time), one light flashes red for about 3 secs and then turns off and the other two will not display full white anymore. They display a yellowish white now. Go figure, I am literally only a few days outside of my return period... so stuck with them. Again, these would have been cool if they lasted longer. For nearly $40 I expected them to last more than just a few uses.

Put them in the fountain and made them different colors

Please help...Nice lights. However, I placed two of the lights in my fountain in my foyer. The lights stay on for only five minutes. My neighbor said possibly they are on a timer, but the remote does not reflect a timer symbol?

I ordered these last year to use in coolers for Halloween. They worked perfect and lasted all night. I read the reviews and took a chance and Im super happy I did. Now i didnt have them submerged all year, but ive use them atleast once a month. I have been useing them on camping trips, in the bath, and in the pool. They have sat in coolers with ice for a few days, and they have been used in hot baths multiple times, and they are still as bright as the day I got them. Im looking forward to ordering more.

I purchased these and when I received them, I put batteries in them. One of the cases was very hard to open and close and I thought it was going to be a problem... and it was. The other 3 seemed to open and close correctly and seal appropriately. 2 of them got water in them and the next time I tried to use them, they did not work. I replaced the batteries and they were still dead. I have 1 of 3 working.The other issue was they were not as bright as I thought they would be. I have a 30,000 gallon pool and a small spa. it took 3 to illuminate the spa the way the post showed the pool to be illuminated.
