I read an article about this cream. Nice smell and feels great on my face. Does exfoliate if used heavier on the face. I really like this cream.

When first applying this cream, you’ll note a subtle fragrance that’s unique to the product. Not good or bad, mild and just different than most facial creams. My first use, I expected a moisturizer, but found as I circle rubbed it with my fingers it was sloughing off dead skin on my drier areas of my combination middle aged skin. I got a warm washcloth and exfoliated my neck, décolletage and face. My skin felt so smooth and wrinkles less visible. I applied a second light layer to the same areas now free from the dry skin and my skin felt so smooth and soft! Truly, for the price, the benefits for your skin- this is one cream Salma Hayak claims to use and she’s married to a billionaire. She could just as easily recommend LaMer, but she didn’t . It was mentioned in a random interview and yes, it has been impressive for my skin and even my spouses cracked hands in winter months. Also, no stinging or burning with the exfoliation. Extremely mild and lovely on my face. Plumped my between eye creases and softened the crepey neck skin as I’m aging. Impressive pricing for the two in one application usage! Will continue to recommend! A++

I like this skin cream very much. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. It also makes my skin moist. It is a rich cream. I feel like it is really healing my skin. It is very rich, so you can use less of it than some creams. The smell is very nice also. This helps with wrinkles. It makes my skin feel and look more youthful. The price seems reasonable compared to other skin creams. I almost gave it a five. It makes my skin soft and dewy. I will order more.

At 65 yrs of age I can finally afford great skin care products. I stay out of the sun, drink tons of water and do see an esthetician once a month. I try lots of good facial creams, serums vitamin c and e serums, toners, products from Korea etc. I also bought the hype about Salma Hayak and that she uses this cream, she's olive toned, with more melatonin than my skin and that is very forgiving skin when it comes to aging. This is a very affordable skin cream, I've only been using at night ,not during the day because I need a moisturizer with an spf in it, I live in the deep south. In goes on nicely and absorbs quickly, very minor light scent. However, there is something in it that leaves tiny black specks on your skin after applying. I do not like this aspect of the cream because I've just cleaned ,toned and prepared my skin for nighttime and don't want to sleep with black specks on my face. I will probably not purchase again for that reason.

Does anyone else who’s used this for a long time feel a difference to their skin?? The top jar in the pic is the old one. The bottom jar is the the newer one (I’ve ordered from more than one seller recently and the newer jars are the same). Now when I apply, it feels a little tingly on my skin and doesn’t seem to be as moisturizing as before. Wondering if I’m the only one. I’m going to try to continue with it awhile longer, but this would be a huge disappointment as I’ve used this product for a long time and have been very happy. UPDATE - August 2024: What is happening?? This product has changed a few times within the past year. The first time, the business info and location changed. And it felt a little tingle sensation to my skin but the product still worked just as well as it always has. But this last time I purchased it….. it smells different. It smells very bad. Rancid?? (smells like a nursing home seriously, I know that sounds bad) The more you smell it, it smells like bad collagen/animal product?? The product might work the same but the scent doesn’t fade fast enough and I just can’t get past it, it smells that rancid. I’ve bought this product many time before & it usually has a strong but floral-like scent. I’m used to that scent. This however, was NOT the same scent… The color is different this time too, which can be expected, but I cannot get past the scent. Maybe it’s just a bad batch, but this one smells very very bad. I can not put it on my face. It makes me want to vomit. I don’t know if it’s just a bad batch, but I’m so disappointed because I’ve loved this product for many years.

So I can't say yet what this does to my skin, I've only just gotten it. I can say though that I was expecting based off some reviews for it to smell like the power of 6 grannies in the sewing aisle. Thankfully, to me, it isn't a granny perfume scent. It smells more like a clean soap smell, which I like because it makes me feel like my face is clean. The scent lasts for like 10 minutes, and then I don't really smell it anymore. I do see the particles in it that others mentioned, however I know it's just part of the cream. And I haven't seen any of those specks on my face after applying it. It's a bit greasy after applied, but since it's a night cream that doesn't bother me. It soaks into my skin well too. Hoping for some good results, will update in a couple weeks. For reference, my skin is super sensitive. I've used it twice now and I haven't had any reactions to it, and hopefully won't. UPDATE: Been using this for a month now and I'm pretty happy with it. My skin is clear and a little radiant after using it for just this long. Of course this isn't the only thing I use in my skin care routine so I know it's everything I use combined, but it sure does help to use this as a night cream since I've only been moisturizing during the day. I would say it's well worth giving a try, but I would definitely only use this for night time.
