Much Better/More Consistent Angled Cuts
To be honest, I’ve only used the 90deg angle slot, BUT in comparison to the quality of cuts I used to get with my regular mini miter box (which is ever so slightly smaller, but most importantly, the slots are much wider!), I get a consistent and correct cut EVERY SINGLE TIME I use this thin-slot mitre box. Previously, aka when I used the other, more commonly-available small mitre box, I got a variety of inconsistent, and more importantly, imprecise cuts no matter what I did to try to fix it. With this box instead, I get exactly what I’m looking for every time I use it. To be fair, the other mitre box has many more of these slots for the things I am cutting of varying widths, enabling me to keep the cutting material more steady. Despite this difference, the thin slot box still gets an incredibly higher-quality, precise result every time! I highly recommend this thing!!!! And the saw ain’t bad either — it turns out that I needed to replace my blade of my usual saw that’s made by the same company, bc this one cuts with SO MUCH MORE EASE, and the cut takes fare less time to make happen. I recommend this, and it was totally worth the money!

One of the most useful tools I've bought
I do alot of woodworking and occasionally I use small decorative trim. Shelve edges cabinet trim, ect. Problem is, my 12" miter saw tends to tear up small delicate trim. I've been thinking about a small miter box for a while now. Since I was adding some small trim with our kitchen remodel, I thought it was a good excuse to pick this up. So happy with my purchase. I've made about 20 some cuts on some little trim and really happy how this cuts and how the joints all line up perfectly. Not going to say every cut was fine finish, that's just not realistic, but the cuts were good and a little sanding cleaning them up easily. The trim was pine and it cut fast and easy. Don't know why any one is saying it takes a while to cut. Might take a little more for hardwoods, but again, that is to be expected. Sure not a reason to knock the product. Unless you did get a dull one. Also, can't believe some one knocked this because it will wear out. Really? It's a saw and you are sawing on/in a metal box, both are going to wear out. That's what happens. Again, NOT a reason to take off stars. Not fair to the product. My only criticism is, I wish it had a way to mount it. Rather not have to hold the box and the piece being cut at the same time. I did mount it to the old counter top with a clamp, and that worked for the most part. I'll probably drill some holes to be able to mount it. Just would be nice if the manufacturer did that already, it would only improve a great tool. For the price, I am really happy with the purchase. Will buy again if/when it wears out, as it will eventually. That's what happens. One last thing, don't forget, there are not two 45 degree angles on this, one is 45 the other is 60. Duh moment for me when the first 90 corner did not match up. Not a problem with the product, my problem for nothing thinking or paying attention.

Hobby size, light duty, decent
As stated in description, it is a small mitre box (6-1/2" long). I bought it to use for cutting 1/4 Round molding but soon found that it was a little undersized for my use. That being said, it is of pretty decent quality and it did work ok for those. For any larger jobs it would be questionable how it would perform. Another note, maybe some didn't realize (took me a minute to notice) is that it is a "pull" saw, meaning you pull towards you for cutting. Once I figured that out it worked pretty nicely. At first it didn't seem like it was going to work well but once I figured out that the saw teeth are reversed from a normal saw it cut nicely. Overall I would recommend it for Hobbies, very light duty use such as Balsa woods, model building, light plastics, and the like. I think the accuracy would be pretty decent as the cutting slots are very narrow and the saw fits well, without being sloppy. One additional note and one thing I didn't care for so much was the lack of a 45 degree slot in the opposite direction. That would have been nice to have. That makes it a little less convenient to use.

Excellent product and easy to use
I do not understand the negative reviews on this item. This product is of excellent quality and easy to use. The angles in description are as promised. The saw is sharp and efficient. It is for small projects - a mini miter box, so do not expect to use for large projects. I do arts and crafts with paint sticks and tumbling tower blocks from the dollar tree and this miter box and saw makes cutting these so simple. I love it!! If you need a miter box and saw for small projects BUY THIS.

Great saw and saw horse combo
I love this little thing. I mostly use it to cut popsicle sticks and thin dowels for making terrain for tabletop war games. The size of the saw is perfect for my use case and is sturdy even when cutting through a thick stack of sticks. The saw horse makes cutting precisely very easy.

Fair Qulity
A low cost product so you can't expect much but it does get the job done. Very sharp and worked well for a single fine quality wood detailing and trim. I only bought it to use on one job. Unfortunately it doesn't have multi angles for right and left and I don't think it would last very long the sharpness or the handle. But if you're looking for something cheap and you just need to get up simple job done and don't expect to use it very much it's fine. Your woodworker or expect to use this for multiple projects I'd pass

Very nice, precise miter saw+guide
This saw is ideal for handling small strips of hobby wood (basswood or balsa) and could probably handle harder woods as well. Cuts are VERY clean and precise if you use it correctly, and so far I'm not seeing much wear on the miter box itself. In most cases I can take my 45-degree end cuts and mate them up square with no visible gap across the cut. The miter box looks like type-2 anodized aluminum with a bit of an orange-gold surface dye, except where the saw guide slots have been cut. I might have preferred a type-3 hard anodizing for durability, but that kind of anodizing only comes in matte dark gray to black (which could make it difficult to see what you're doing).

Perfect for 1/12 scale miniature dollhouse. The base of the mitre box is not flat and has "grooves" for round stock on the same side as the cutting fence. When trying to miter narrow rectangular pieces (1/4" window trim), they drop down on a slight angle which makes a poorly fit mitre. The solution is to turn the mitre box around and cut from the opposite side.

I like this set compared to my old one. The miter box is longer and wider. The saw is also longer and has more depth of cut. It has a good wood handle.
