Bestop 8004135 Wraparound Windjammer for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK

I bought this knowing it would be incorrect fitment. This is designed for a 2-door(JK) and I’m using it on a 4-door(JKU).So as you read, please consider that this review is for a product being used in a way unintended by the manufacturer.It’s everything it claims to be. The window is clear, the item does need other supports/components to function as intended.Currently, I have it partially installed using the factory door surrounds, which allow a near perfect fit. The top of this jammer wrap, I have held to the c pillar using proprietary clips from a car cover set I had found after a VERY exhaustive search for a solution that didn’t involve modifying/pillaging a $200 speaker wrap for the channel. Real talk. That was debilitating.You’ll want to tailor a piece of fabric with zippers and such so it will reach a tonneau if you plan to use one with it. On a JKU, equipped with proper tonneau, there will be roughly 8” of gap between the zipper on tonneau and zipper on windjammer. They won’t won’t reach. Promise. If you stretch it that far, the zipper will fail to function proper and you risk destroying the thing.Jeep life I guess?

Great upgrade from a regular Windjammer to this "wrap-around" great overall product no leaks protects from all the elements. Also it keeps warm air in or cold air depending where you from.

I just opened the wraparound windjammer I purchased this summer for winter . Now it's to late to return. Ordered the sound cap. I am 4 hours into this and this j slide doesn't slide.i started at one end to slide and it slides 2 inches and goes no further. 300$+ for crap. No one will reply to help you.

Can’t see out the back or blind spots. Window space should have been made bigger. Can kind of be dangerous to drive with it on

I purchased this windjammer for improved weatherization during non-winter months. Fits very well! With only a couple minor manufacturing modifications it could be a dedicated, perfect fit!

Nice heavy quality. Bought as part of Bikini/ dust cover set up. Was pretty easy to install but beware if you have a two door you will need the sound bar cover to install this which is another 107.00 min. I am not sure how I will like this as a summer option as it is not real quick on. hooks to sound bar cover door surrounds, roll bars, dust cover and backs of seats so what I thought might be easier than my factory soft top gives me more pieces and connection points to remove but they are easy to reach and work with when you have one person

If you need to put the doors back on, it makes it pretty nice for running the heat or the air depending on the temp outside. You don’t really have to put your soft top or hard top back on to get good climate control up front.

I used this on my jku with a trek top I had to have it altered from a convertable shop to fit it cost me 125.00 to alter it I love the look best top is in my opinion is the best but I wish the would design something for a cab enclosed for the jku...people say they fit 4 door from factory I dont know how they do it had to fab a header channel to attach it and had it widened an on either side ,a header fabric to close the top the Velcro's onto completely close off top and side and as full size water flap the c vers the entire seam where it meets cargo cover. This is a good product I gives it a great look...
