This is good stuff - it really does trap heat (and air), its easy to use. I've used it in the loft to keep the temperature up there a few degrees warmer in winter and several cooler in summer.This brand is much, much better than the whatever brand stuff b&q sell (for the same price). Amazon massively over package this stuff though (left feedback about that), and at time of writing Homebase sell the same for the same price without all the packaging to get in your way.One product gripe is that the the end of the roll is strongly glued to the rest, so its impossible to open without tearing up the end a bit. Seems a shame, because otherwise its a straight forward, good product.

Good insulation
This was purchased to insulate an outdoor rabbit hutch during the winter.Easy to cut and tape in place using Frog tape to join pieces. I did think of staples but I wanted it to be removed during the summer.The rabbit seems warm and happy 🙂

The quality of this product is fine but there is a general lack of understanding on how it can be used and how effective it is. Bubble foil like this is excellent for preventing radiative heat loss but not conductive heat loss, when you see a picture of it being stapled to eaves - the air gap between felting/boarding and foil provides some conductive insulation, the foil itself does not (in fact the foil conducts heat well).This general lack of understanding about how much heat is lost from for example radiators/hot water tanks by different forms (convection/conduction/radiation) means many people are likely to install this product incorrectly, which is a shame because it is useful and efficient when done properly.
