Better than IMT-301 (no tuner though)
Great metronome with clear sound, long battery life, and two metronome memory. The difference between the IMT-301 and the IMT-1000:Color: Grey vs Orange sides&buttonsSide switch: A lot firmer on the IMT 1000 (stronger click to switch modes). With the IMT 301, if you slide too quickly, it occasionally displayed the wrong mode. No such problem with IMT-1000Tuner: No tuner on IMT-1000Metronome:301: Swinging needles1000: Longitudinal wavesI believe that the functions and sound are the exact same (two types of clicks, loud red beats and green beats).1 tempo memory on 301 (forgets often), 2 memory on 1000 (Rarely forgets)Pitch generator: Does the exact same thing, but notated differently.301 Specifies Hz as 440, 441, 439, etc and shifts needle accordingly.1000: Very simple 0=440, 1=441, -1=439Side button 301: has hygrometer/thermometer that turns on and off when pressed (Inaccurate and useless/eats batteries)Side button 1000: Pause buttonFront functions: identical

Very good metronome!
I would highly recommend this metronome. It has 2 settings that saves the beats and it is loud! Which is good when playing a violin.

Improved product
I ordered this to replace my original Intelli with the hygrometer/thermometer which ate batteries at such a ferocious rate that it had to be run from DC power supply. Thankfully, this one has no such problem. This is one of the loudest on the market and has several rhythmic settings. The "A" and "B" metronome settings is somewhat useful. Good value for money

Great Metronome!
This metronome is nice and loud! Worth the money. I have been using it for years, and accidentally broke mine, so I repurchased it. I recommend this metronome to anyone looking for a metronome. The volume control is very handy. It's loud enough to be heard over your playing.

Only metronome you ever need
My professor recommended this metronome to me and now 12 years teaching myself it’s the only metronome loud enough that you can hear it over an ensemble, even drummingHighly recommend

Very Solid and Unusually Loud (Variable) Metronome
Louder than other small metronomes I've encountered. Needed this because I use it in trumpet practice. Trumpet renders others useless. Clever controls, generally easy to use. Instructions very incomplete. Has audio output, 9V DC input, a cryptic "capture M1/M2" control, and a foldout rest on back--very useful. Feels solid
