This box is first rate in all respects
Bosch makes excellent products but does a very poor job at marketing them here in the US. They are big in Europe and Asia and have more products there. I was afraid to buy this product because it looked so cheesy in their online materials. I was going to go with the Rigid line-up of stack-able boxes. Boy was I wrong! This box is first rate in all respects. Well designed and built. The plastic is substantial and of obvious quality.I bought a L-Boxx 1 to snap on top and it clicks in precisely and holds firmly. I committed to the system and will be filling it out as I go along.I bought a Bosch 12v drill driver awhile back and was flabbergasted by its quality feel and superb performance. They are expensive for me, but over time I will migrate out of my old Ryobi equipment to Bosch one tool at a time. The difference between the two is like night and day but I must admit the Ryobi tools are very good and a great value and have served me well over the years.

Pricey but worth every penny.
I've been pretty handy since my dad started teaching me things 35 years ago. While no professional contractor, I think I could hold my own on most basic home repairs, basic renovations, improvements, etc. In 2014 we bought a vacation rental property 625 miles away. We make 4 quarterly maintenance trips each year and after we finish the necessary repairs, routine maintenance, etc., then we get to enjoy the beach. Which means that I have every interest in completing the work efficiently, as do all professional contractors where clearly time is money. So that's why I spent about $550 on this "overpriced" Bosch Click and Go system. I looked at it years ago and thought, "that's crazy" and I went with the Rigid component system which is similar to most everything else out there - several locking tool boxes on a custom dolly. But they all fail my needs because I ended up spending most of my time on my knees on the floor with 4 or 5 clumsy tool boxes spread out around a small condo with their non-see-through lids opened and the dolly in another spot, getting in the way. The other system worked great for getting the tools from the van to the condo, but that's where the utility ended. Enter the Bosch click and go with L-Rack System . . .With the L-Rack system, the dolly, and a couple of the smaller L-Boxxes, I can roll everything I need for several projects into the condo and access tools, parts, and supplies, through pull-out drawers that actually work very well and don't fall out. Using the labels, I can then load the top L-Boxx with everything I need to do bathroom maintenance and head upstairs with just that box and maybe a couple of the L-Rack drawers. Its flexibility is what you pay for.The quality is very good, but it is clear that Bosch is pricing this system on value, and not on the cost of materials and manufacturing plus some mark up. So in the end, it is worth EVERY PENNY to me because having an extra day or two each trip to surf fish is worth far more than the difference in price between the Bosch and everything else.

Great for screw drivers and wrenches
I probably will buy another one of these just to fit all the Misc tools I have for jobs, I thought having just one to go along with a series of other Lboxes(Boxx-2,-3,-4 etc) would be enough to hold misc wrenches and screw drivers but it seems JUST too small to hold everything neatly. This is built super strong and very professional looking.

False Advertisment
Just so everyone is aware, the picture and the packaging is misleading. The iboxx72 is the top tray in the picture, not the iboxx53. There is a large dead space under the iboxx53 which is totally useless. The only configuration in which the iboxx53 works is in the L-boxx 3D with the iboxx92 tray.

Home for Downsized Tools Set
This is a great module used to house the small subset of all the hand tools we plan to take to our retirement apartment. I also purchased the companion modules used to house a portable drill and jigsaw.

I was originally worried about the non bendy plastic. I dont think itll be an issue though. this thing seems like it will hold up well through the years.I have a few other bosch L boxx units and didnt think id use this as much as I do. Its great having drawers since I can keep sanding pads in one, common tools in another, and screws in one too. Love keeping things organized and this allows me to carry a lot with me in an easily managed system. I have an lboxx 2 on top which holds my palm and orbital sanders.note: would be nice if the other compartments came apart. Notice in the picture, only one section has the red handles which allow it to attach to other lboxx units. Mine came with the red handles on top, so i could remove that, but not dock this to any other box with this being the top.Id recommend this over the lboxx 3d since I like having drawers, and can still put a box on top of it.

The bosch boxes are great!
I love these things. One thing i've done over time is move to more drawers or pull out ones.... I stack less of the closed boxes because every time I needed something I had to unstack everything....
