Okay, so Redwood's Redgear mats aren't as familiar to us compared to the big brands like Steelseries or Corsair. I was a tad worreid about the product quality before buying it. However, this seems like a good pad.1. The sides are stitched to avoid fraying. My older Hunter mousepad also had this feature and it did a good job of increasing its durability. I find it odd that the stuff from Logitech and Corsair do not have this feature.2. The cloth material on top is smooth and very even. I've noticed that some surfaces which doesn't allow the mouse to glide has jittery movement when you're trying to be precise. I think this is due to static friction. This pad doesn't have that issue and I can make precise movements with my mouse.The texture of the cloth itself is very consistant. From what I've read across several articles/videos, a densely wooven cloth with dull/black colour is the best surface to use for optical mice. This mat seems to fit the bill.3. It has a rubber bottom that prevents it from sliding around the table. This is a feature common to all gaming pads and Redgear's mat is no exception.4. Most interestingly, I got all of these at a bargain price. The big brands' stuff seem to have the same qualities, some were inferior (lack of edge stitches for eg). Yet they cost much more. In conclusion, this seems like a good buy.

Note- if you buy this kinds of size in mouse pad make sure you have a small keyboard usually 60% keyboards feels comfortable with these huge mouse pads

This MP44 Speed type gaming mouse pad is excellent, the surface is super smooth, the mouse easily glides, and the mouse pad size is also sufficient. For experienced players it's perfect, and for newer players, they may lack some control because the mouse pad is so smooth. The mouse pad is perfectly price and affordable for all players, I don't think there will be any more good quality mousepad in this price and a little price also.

I have been using RedGear mousepads since 5 years. Previously I owned the extra long control type mousepad and recently I bout the medium size speed type and there is a significant difference between both of them.[Check the photos for reference. Top one is the speed type and bottom one is the control type.]Feel:The control type is rough to touch and extremely precise. The speed type is silky smooth and I found it better for FPS games since the flicks are quicker. If you live in a hot and humid area, the speed type cloth will make your wrist sweat.Cleaning:Control type is very hard to clean and it is nearly impossible to remove the dust from the rough surface. Speed type is considerably easier. But let's be honest, it is better to replace a mousepad after couple years of use than to keep cleaning and reusing it.Value for money?Totally. If you're a beginner to semi-pro level gamer and in a budget then go for it. Otherwise go for the Steelseries QCK or try out other expensive options according to your requirements.

I bought this mouse pad in September 2019. It is 2024 now and this mouse pad is still going strong. No wear or tear and still a good smooth and precise experience while gaming. I do clean it at least every month or if it does a feel dirty then every 2 weeks. Keep in mind the durability will depend on you taking care of the mouse pad. Keep it clean and the surface you place it on clean as well and you should not have any issues.
