Helpful, Concise and Practical
This little guide is useful to Messianic Jews or Jewish Roots-oriented believers who are considering celebrating Hanukah in some way. Adaptable to church use as a teaching tool too. It contains easy to understand summaries as to what Hanukah is about, its connection to Daniel 8 and Jesus' celebration of Hanukah, and its traditional observances.Great for families, home groups, etc. Complete with directions for playing Dreidel games, making potato pancakes (latkas -- or, as we Slovaks say, latci). It even includes suggested children's programs to teach the meaning of the holiday with a menorah motif.Nice booklet.

Not quite for a family setting
I bought this for use as a family devotion, but it is really much better suited to a large group setting. Good idea though!

Well done.
I really enjoyed this book, the author seem to be very knowledgeable, I have read many messianic books on this topic, and I will recommend this book to anyone.

Simple, personable, fun!
This little booklet, while not extremely lengthy, contains a good deal of information on this holiday as well as it's relevance to Believers today. It contains recipes, songs/music charts, and instructions on how to play the dreidel, in addition to the primary section dealing with Hanukkah itself (the history, lighting the menorah, the blessings/prayers, etc). Very happy with my purchase.

succinct resource from messianic perspective
While I don't recommend it for mainstream Jews, this booklet can be helpful for those coming from a Messianic Jewish or Hebrew Christian background (or just any Christian who wants to celebrate Hanukkah).Clear, concise, and practical, with basic yet helpful theological insights. Will get you started if the holiday is new to you.

Good, brief, but informative
Brief but informative. Good for learning what we need to know right before celebrating Hanukkah. I enjoyed the book in general and it gave a good idea of what Hanukkah is about and how to celebrate.

Okay
More of a booklet than a book. Still, OK.
