I bought this torch and it broke within a month and after chatting with customer service, they sent me a new torch and it works great. The customer service was excellent to communicate with and was resolved pretty quickly. Great product and great customer service. Thankyou!

Simply Dangerous..This product worked as expected and I was impressed for the first 2-3 weeks. After approximately five or six barbecues, I started noticing issues with the flame not shutting off when I release the button. Shortly there after, it appeared as if butane was spitting out of the nozzle and I could not shut off the flame. Now, without the flame Lit, or activating the butane button, I can hear butane escaping from the front of the nozzle.I really wish this product had lived up to my expectations as I believe the flame and fan design is exactly what I’m looking for in a barbecue lighter.Unfortunately, it’s simply does not work and it’s dangerous.

This was gifted to me a few years ago. I wasn't that excited about it and didn't give it a try for several months. I fell in love with it. It's almost like your Leatherman. You just got to know where it is at all times. I ended up losing it somehow in the forest. I missed it dearly for about a year before I replaced it with a new one. It's just great for starting any type of fire or heating something up or searing a steak. It's just a very useful tool once you have it. Kind of like scissors. Just imagine life without scissors. I feel similarly about this thing.

This is the third Bison I've owned. The last one lasted a few years and the current one has stopped after a month. The blower button is stuck/broken and won't shut off until the batteries are removed. Otherwise this igniter is a handy tool for starting fires.UPDATE: I was able to work with their customer service and received a replacement free of charge. The process was smooth and the new igniter works perfectly. I like a company that stands behind their product!

First of all, to be clear, this is not a flame thrower, it's a butane torch and a blower that cannot be simultaneously on. That being said, it is incredibly useful. I was using a lighter and a heat gun to light my wood stove and this is more effective...the torch is lights much easier, it's pretty strong, and the blower is just the right amount. The heat gun is overkill even on the lowest setting.Anyways, just bought another for an inlaws Xmas gift! It's a novelty item that works very well.

This is a fantastic toy. It lights fires in fireplaces instantaneously , but it is best when it is lighting charcoal grills especially "Dragon Chimney Starters". Many would call this overkill...my wife calls this "compensation" but this is a dream for those who never made it past Tenderfoot when it came to scouting. Yes... no doubt it is expensive but for the person who has everything including a fireplace and barbque and who is not proud of being a little klutzy- this is a perfect gift.

Never could get it to work. Would NOT recommend.

This is a great product but like with most things I do, I thought I would use it without reading the instructions. Nope, bad idea. Once I read the instructions, it became a great tool for the fireplace, outdoor fire pit and the charcoal BBQ. My wife says it scares her because I am klutz but so far so good, I still have all my facial hair!! All kidding aside this is an awesome tool.
