Good map of city center
I have Borch maps of most of the larger European cities. I have found them to be serviceable, especially when I use them alongside the Street-by-Street maps. I couldn't get a Street-by-Street for Lisbon, so I ordered the Borch and a Michelin map. Of the two, I definitely find the Borch to be more useful if you are planning to spend time in Lisbon. Both products offer maps of the surrounding areas, which would be useful if you are traveling by car. That's not how we travel, so that aspect of the maps is not useful to us and is reflected in my reviews. I'm focused on usability in the city center. The torch by far exceeds the Michelin in that regard. There is one irritating aspect of the Borch: it's meant to be turned over from side-to-side, not flipped over. That's not my tendency, so whenever I was trying to go from one side to the other it was upside down. That maps themselves are easy to follow, once you get them right-side-up.

These maps are the best! This is the second city for which I've purchased one and they're my new favorites. The map is well organized to cover a multitude of information and the material out of which the map is made assures that it will last the rigors of travel (I keep mine in a plastic ziploc bag in my purse at all times). I won't write on a map but it's possible to do so with this one, which would be an added bonus for some. I was afraid the size would be an issue because you can't be opening a large map when you're in the middle of a busy sidewalk on a city street, but most of the time you only have to refer to a section so it's not a problem. Great concept, great execution and I wouldn't leave home without it. . .

The amount of detail on the town maps is generally very good, but the map of the countryside around Lisbon is pretty poor and gives very little detail.Plastic finish is good and mine survived a lot of folding without damage

A great Lisbon map
Sturdy plasticized map with details for both the city of Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Includes detailed area maps within the city and maps of the nearby countryside. Tourist locations clearly indicated and easy to find.
