Sure you could use a bunch of prybars and hope for the best. I tried that method, wasn't able to get the belt on. But with this it was relatively smooth sailing. You might need to go around a few times is all.

Effective in belt installation avoiding having to risk heat and grime on your hands and arms. Economical price when compared to all others. To top it off, it came with newer style contoured handle grip instead of the shiny plastic straight sided square version.

This is a great product, save you some times to set up the bell underneath the car and less dangerous. But still have to be very patient to manipulate the bell in order to get into each pulley correctly.

We bought this tool to help change a belt on my 2009 Chevrolet Malibu. The picture does not do this product justice. The product looks strong and like it will to the job well. It is about three feet long and very thick metal. We will not be changing this belt for a week or so. Once we fix the car, I will add a comment to let you know how it actually works. Ok ofthe attachments lost a ball bearing will not stay on the tool.The he tools still ok.

I purchased this tool because it works on a lot of different vehicles and pulley sizes.I only used it once so far.It took a little work to get it on, but worked great once I had it set up.Take a little effort to turn but it does its job.

I got my serpentine belt on my 2008 Mazda 5 fairly easily. But the AC stretch belt was a beast. I was hoping this tool would work and it did. I bought the green 3 bolt version for max flexibility. It took just afew minutes to set the tool and belt in position. Started turning the crank and I could feel it catch. It required a good bit of strength but I just kept going slowly around and in one full turn it slipped into place. I did have to turn the crank another round or so to get the belt precisely into the grooves but I am a happy camper. Great tool to have. It's a keeper!
