Delicate rose aroma and smooth black tea
As an avid tea drinker, I’m rarely without a cup. I have tried many brands over the years from grocery store to boutique teas and after switching to Taylor’s I have not looked back. This particular black tea is aromatic and flavorful without being overpowering or bitter. I was somewhat cautious about the rose but found upon opening the bag a blissful scent that immediately hinted to relaxation. I brewed according to directions of one teaspoon at 212 degrees for 3-4 minutes. The leaves’ quality is unsurpassed in my experience as an American tea drinker. This is a perfect tea for quiet mornings. It’s beautiful, bright, fresh and also a delightful value which makes it easier to enjoy more frequently. The tin is a nice addition to my coffee/tea counter.

Good flavor, smooth and not acidic.
I love "smoke pine tea" and this is a good one. Not as strong as some I've had but very acceptable. Good flavor and I can always steep it twice. Double steeping makes it a better value for the money. The container seals easily and it's attractive on the shelf, too. I love the blend and will probably buy it again.

The best green tea I’ve been able to find
If you are a dreadful tea snob, this is the tea for you. The flavor is absolutely exquisite. The tea leaves are large and whole. When you prepare this properly, it is smooth and even, the fragrance is delightful! I will continue to buy this tea for years to come

fragrant & flavorful
I'm enjoying this tea's beautiful rose flavor and aroma. appreciate it's packaged in a tin. like many things here, I do find it a bit hefty on price. that aside, I've enjoyed the tea solo, but also steeped it with genmaicha roasted tea. that gave it another level of complexity i really enjoyed. would I purchase again? yes, if the pricing is competitive, absolutely.

An easy-drinking black tea with a delightful rose scent
The China Rose Petal tea smells strongly of roses, completely covering the tea-ness, so it was difficult to get a sense of what I was going to taste. Brewed at 1tsp/250mL of water for 3min, with water about 30s removed from heat after boiling--what can I say, I'm impatient. The flavor is solid, only a little rose-water on the tongue, and the tea itself is malty & moderately astringent. (I like that in my teas; YMMV.) Texture is light on the tongue if you've followed the instruction not to add milk. If you can't stand your tea without milk, it will lend a richer texture and bind all those tannins that you might not enjoy. A bit of sugar brings out faint earthy notes, but I like it best with a generous teaspoon of acacia honey. The honey has its own gentle floral scent that complements the rose top-flavor, without overpowering the deeper ones. If you're looking for something to drink like a fine wine, this tea isn't for you--nor are any mixed teas. It's not too fancy for everyday use, but still nice enough to serve when having a friend over for a cuppa. (May we soon be able to do that without isolating ourselves for a couple weeks beforehand.) A good afternoon tea that's less caffeinated than what I have with breakfast. Can be steeped twice with serviceable but not great flavor. Leaves a tiny bit of sediment in the bottom of the pot, but not more than is typical of mechanical processing.

love it
Love this smoky tea and use instead of acidic coffee.

I was so impressed at this flavoursome Scottish tea that I made a 2nd pot. My husband loved it, too! This is a nicely priced tea and we get an attractive caddy. I hope to be buying more.
