The screen door may only be shut to where it comes even with the pet door and leaves a large bug gap between the screen and the pet door. Seal the dreaded pet door "bug gap" with the Bug Warden. The Bug Warden adheres to the side of your panel pet door and provides a flexible bug blocking seal with your screen door. There are two heights (Standard 81" and Tall 101") based on the height of your sliding door. Product is shipped in two segments to keep shipping costs low. Is it Easy to Install? Yes. There is no drilling into the screen door or pet door and no hacksaw required. Simply remove the adhesive backing, press to install the Bug Warden and finish with the screen door bumper at the top of the sliding rail to ensure an optimal seal every time you close the screen door. Will it Fit My Panel Pet Door/Screen Door Combination? The Bug Warden is fully customizable. All you need is a pair of scissors to resize. The maximum gap width supported is 3" and the Bug Warden includes guidelines to adjust the gap width size down to 2" or 1". Will it work in my Environment? Yes. I agree with the other poster that they work well, but are way overpriced! Until there is some competition, then at least you have a way of using your screen door without a ton of flies coming in through the gap with the dog door. I hated buying them because of the bloated price - but I certainly won't buy a second pair for the other door, they aren't THAT good!

Great idea!
I love this product and would recommend it to anyone with a pet door in their slider. Wish I'd known about this years ago. I think the price was a little too high but it does work great! They should sell these at the pet and hardware stores right next to the pet doors.
