It works!
If you need a handy little chop saw this is perfect. I have several angle grinders and needed something to make repetitive cuts. This is easy to assemble and works with most 4 1/2 inch angle grinders. The lock mechanism for the fixing nut is the only issue i had with one of my grinders. I see mine getting a lot of use over the years. Highly recommended if you cant get a full size chop saw.

Not for amateurs
All the other comments are correct. Instructions are terrible and there are problems with the pivot bolt hole size. But if you get past all of the problems and have some mechanical capabilities once you get the machine put together it works really well. Probably not ideal for high volume production but for doing small cuts this machine is very handy to have around.

Three Stars
Its okay, kind of flimsy, and squaring the grinder to the stand can be a PITA.

Toy Like Product. Grizzly, NOT!!
This product is very poorly designed especially the supposed piece holder which is a joke & potentially dangerous. Someone posted that the base was cast iron, it's not, it's very light gauge steel. Actually I sent it back because I found it an accident in the making. When I complained to the company about the product, they were a bit resistant to accepting it back & I had to pay $10.00 shipping to return it. I just felt that using it on a tool that was spinning @ 11K RPM's wasn't a good idea. On the plus side, the arm seemed to be fairly stable but after opening the box & looking at it's construction, I just put it back & started the return process. Another thing is, they ship it without any washers that are most essential if you were to try to use it because I'm sure the vibration would cause the bolts to loosen & cause more problems or injury.

Don't expect this to work out of the box.
I should have read the reviews. Cheap piece of junk. The head of my angle grinder hit both the guide and the clamp allowing only about an 1/8th inch of the disc to extend beyond deck height -- making it virtually impossible to cut anything without a brand new disc. I tried my other angle grinder and it was even worse. I finally ground down the guide and clamp to give me some clearance and got it to work, but I've seen several home-made examples on Y-tube that appear to be more functional. Wish I had gone ahead and built my own -- and I may still....As others have said. Cheap materials, needs washers, needs a better clamping system, etc. Difficult to align and keep in alignment. Not worth the money, IMHO.

Ok could be better
The clamp to hold things is place is worthless. Not a very percise tool but using a stop block you can get more accurate cuts.Is a handy little tool to have though.

Grizzley goof
I bought this unit to do light rod and angle. cutting I read the reviews and saw that some buyers were having a lot of trouble getting the unit set up.Now I know why. The instructions are complete garbage. The clamp can be made to work quite well but not if you follow the instructions. Then I found out that the maker had reversed two different size screw holes. The large pivot pin screw hole was on and angle while the stabilizing screw went straight in. This can't work. I enlarged the stabilizer screw holes to accept the pivot pins so that they go straight into the grinder housing. Then I used the two stabilizer screw holes to mount the stabilizer screws. Now it is possible to mount the grinder in the stand, Firmly attached to a workbench the unit does work reasonable well but I would not recommend this stand to anyone who is not prepared to throw away the instructions and start from scratch.
