Wanted a real I-pod all along.
For ages I had been on the fence about buying a new i-pod. Did I want all the features of the i-pod touch? Or did I want the huge storage of the I-pod Classic? It took months to figure it out and I would still be trying to decide. It took Tony's book to sort it out. Reading along for the first chapters it was becoming clear that I would have to learn all sorts of new stuff. Really? All sorts of new games, TV, the internet, untold wonders of the I-pod touch. The grandchildren love theirs. OK, but I really don't care about the new stuff. I went to Tony's website. Boom! It hit me. I really don't care about all of the new wonders added to the I-pod Touch. I just want a place to put all of my music. My Nano is getting filled up and my new car has a cool system to let me play my new, big I-pod. Don't want satellite radio and I don't need to make dinner reservations in the town I live in. Decision made. The Classic finally was the choice and explaining the I-pod Touch brought it all into focus! Thanks, Tony!

Okay, I'm a Dummy
Bought two of these as gifts for people who own iPod touches but were reluctant to use the devices to their potential. I read the book before I gave it to one of them. I found in it nothing that I had not discovered myself while playing with my iPod touch, but saw that it could be really helpful for someone who was less inclined to touch their touch. I think I was a dummy to think that someone would want to read a book about something that doesn't capture their imagination.

Useful iPOD Touch Tips
This book proved very helpful to me after I received my Apple iPOD as a gift. There are plenty of straightforward tips in this book. It is written in everyday language to clearly explain device features and operating tips. Delivery of the book was timely and the price was reasonable.

Exactly what I need
A good book. I'm going to buy a copy of the book for my sister-in-law. We both have iPod Touches but don't use a teeny portion of the capabilities because we don't know what the functions are or how to use them. This book should actually be given (by Apple) to anyone who buys an iPod touch. Otherwise, "Dummies" would be better off to just buy a Nano and call it good.

Your attention please.
I purchased my 1st touch 3 months (it's now May 2015) ago with no knowledge of what a touch could do. This book literally schooled me. From cover to cover I learned from almost every page. I strongly suggest if you need the basics do not pass up this book. Enough said.

IPod Touch for Dummies,
I'm in the middle of this book, almost the same as the Itunes book, but has different things I'm still learning about, I will probably read this more than once, because I keep comeing up with more questions, after I have read, so I write my questions down, and then look them up in the book. Thanks

good information
It's pretty well written. My only objection is that it is pretty much an advertisement for Apple. It made my iPod more usefully.

definatly keeping me in touch with my elderly mum!
this helped my elderly mother get to grips with her new ipod touch, now she calls almost every day to let me know how many steps she has done and what the weather forecast is going to be in an area that neither of us live in etc etc!!!!!! its good to talk!

I must be even more of a dummy than I thought!
Whilst not a complete technophobe, I still find things like i-pods a bit daunting (I am a "silver surfer"). The index could have been clearer as I had to read all the way through to find certain things; on the whole, though, a pretty comprehensive instruction book.
