What a lovely dressing up outfit!!!I've just bought this as a last resort world book day costume for my 6 year old daughter. I was really worried after reading the reviews that the quality was going to be terrible and that it wouldn't fit but I took a chance as I was getting quite desperate! Well, I immediately opened it when I got home and it was all there, in good order, no issues and fits!!! The colours and the outfit overall I think is fab and my daughter is chuffed to bits.I would say I agree with the sizing comments, as although it fits, it's definitely small for 5-6 years. My daughter is quite small and very slender, so I think we've been lucky! Hence only the 4 stars.Overall pleased and so relieved it was delivered on time and in good condition.*Tights not included - bought elsewhere on Amazon*

Fabulous quality my daughter loves it and can't wait to wear it for world book day... in other peoples reviews I was slightly worried about the hairband detaching but it's come and has absolutely nothing wrong with it no fraying on the dress either... it's in perfect condition and true to size...couldn't be happier!! Ah, World Book Day - yet something else parents have to buy/make/arrange an outfit for. Between Red Nose Day, Sports Relief Day, mufti days and themed days (based on whatever they're learning about that term), I have lost the will to live. When I was at school, we got told off if we rolled up our skirt by half an inch. But gone are those days - you can now send your eight year old in dressed as Alice in Wonderland with a four-inch skirt, and nobody bats an eyelid.Last year, my daughter went in as Horrid Henry - but she didn't want to make the same mistake two years running, as all the other girls had gone in as princesses. So I started trawling Amazon for an outfit and found that there's not much out there specifically for WBD. Of course there were the usual suspects - Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks etc but they didn't seem to float her boat. And then we happened across this outfit. To be honest, I was a bit confused as it seems like an experiment gone wrong - mixing elements of the Mad Hatter with the White Rabbit. There's a top hat, but ears. There's the Hatter's outfit but an oversized pocket watch. It's a shambles - like something Vivienne Westwood would come up with after a night on the lash. But it somehow works, and looks great.The outfit itself is really lovely quality for the price - the skirt is full and has a nice shape to it. My little girl loved it. The only thing to be aware of is that it doesn't come with the tights (which we knew, as the description makes this clear). But a pair of black tights or leggings go very well with it.So if you're tearing your hair out trying to find something for a fancy dress or WBD, you could do worse than this crazy yet delightful ensemble.
