Monkey Movement Anti-Chafe Skin Healing Cream: All Natural Chafing Balm with Propolis - Sweat Resistant for Irritated Skin

I’ve been looking for a natural alternative to triamcinolone acetonide cream (.1%). I have eczema on my fingers and dermatitis on my neck area. The steroid cream is the only thing that’s really worked but I don’t like applying it on myself nor my small children when their skin flairs up. Monkey Movement anti chafe balm came up in my search. At first, I was reluctant to buying it because my issue isn’t chafed skin. The bee propolis, however, won me over. We use bee propolis in the form of spray and supplemental capsules at the onset of cold/flu with great success, and so when I saw that this product is not only all natural in its ingredients but has propolis, I felt assured. I don’t leave reviews much but after using this balm, I felt compelled to share my experience in hopes that it can help someone. After just a few applications and 24 hours later, the irritation on my neck completely disappeared and was baby-smooth. I couldn’t believe it. And the small patches of eczema on my fingers are forever gone. It’s as if my 10 year frustration with eczema never happened. The name of this product should just be call skin cure-all. We now use it for dry nose. Instead of vitamin E oil, I just dab a small amount of the balm into my nose and the dryness is gone. We use it on our children with complete confidence that this product is doing them good, not harm! We travel with it wherever we go. If you’re a skier, you need this! Cold, dry mountain climates are the worst on sensitive skin and this will offer endless help! This small tub will last us for years. You only need just a touch. The efficacy of the balm is nothing short of a miracle. If you suffer from topical dermatitis of any kind, this will be your godsend!

53 yr old stout female traveling bartender here. I was so sick of chub rub!! Every time I worked every pair of pants caused chub rub and my vajj eats my right leg on shorts. Yep, true story. Inner thighs feel like hamburger. Not any more!! No more chub rub and my short leg stays in place. Not sticky or discolored and last all day and night. This movement balm is the BEST product EVER. I just used this anti-chafe balm for the first time today, and experienced great thigh/junk relief for the first time in months! I had been using the Gold Bond Ultimate Comfort body powder, this stuff (https://www.amazon.com/Gold-Bond-Ultimate-Comfort-Powder/dp/B00J7G3SJ8/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1540850847&sr=8-5&keywords=gold%2Bbond%2Bpowder&th=1) for the last few months and found that it lasted maybe two to three hours, and then the sweat and friction caused it to completely dissipate (and I'm only 170 lbs! Imagine how useless the powder would be for a larger guy!) This balm is the bee's knees. It does not rub off like the powder does and continues to prevent chafing and irritation long after the powder has given up the ghost. It makes a great hand balm too! My dry hands drank it up!

The balm uses three oils, which I think creates a thin consistency and causes the balm to liquify at moderate temperatures. After using, my hands are quite greasy. Perhaps increasing the amount of beeswax would help this issue. I like the scent, and it works ‘OK,’ but I don’t think this is a good option for endurance activities. I must use a substantial amount to get the protection I need especially between my thighs. I would recommend this as a treatment for chaffing, sun burn, Eczema etc. but not as anti-chaffing balm.

I sometimes suffer from skin irritation after sitting for a long time. This seems to help.

Love this product. Bought it for myself as ive got thick thighs but My husband who's got thunder thighs and is a diesel mechanic gets tons of chafing during the summer and loves it.

I came back to this product, despite the price. I attempted to find a similar, less expensive, product that would provide a similar utility as an anti chafing ointment. I sit at work all day and I can appreciate keeping thing under control and protected "down there". That other product i ordered, was a solid waxy stick that is applied directly to the skin. It worked, but the smell was medicinal and somewhat objectionable for social or work applications, seems like I used it up pretty quickly and it was difficult to wash off . I find this product superior in the scent and also the washability. This product also seems gentler on the skin....I don't have sensitive skin, so that is strictly subjective. The cost seems way too high, but I paid, at least until I find a competitive product that is priced better.

I use this balm every day when working out, and am on my 15th jar! The natural ingredients and fresh lemon essence are perfect for my sensitive, eczema prone skin. Living in Texas, exercising involves a lot of sweating and chaffing, however, this balm prevents chaffing and irritation for me. When reaching out to customer service, response times are expedient and I can tell that this business really cares about their customers. I only wish the balm came in a larger size :)
