Heavy duty and way cheaper than the big box store
I feel dumb for spending twice the amount of money for the same thing at home depot. These links are great and very heavy duty for half the price at the hardware store.

Works well with Curt 80010 chain
Fit perfectly through the Curt 80010 3/8" chain. Beware that my chain came in at 45" from end of hook to end of hook. So if you need 48" of chain be aware.

Work just fine
Needed to replace chains on trailer, and didn't want to weld new links on. So I left the old link welded to the trailer and used this threaded link to attach the new chain. Works fine.

The links would not slide into the same size chain links. I had to enlarge the chain links to make them work.

Cheaper than Home Depot/Lowe's
These are a good value alternative to the ones in big box stores, simply because there are no difference between them. While I may believe these probably won't hold 4400lbs before they break, I do actually trust these with my life. I link my ascenders to my harness with these when I'm climbing. If I needed to clip a heavy object in place, I'd trust these. If I had some free ones I would consider testing a ballpark for actual breaking strength, but for now, I climb.

Limited opening size
Good price and quality, but I couldn't use in my application because the opening was not large enough to fit over the Eye bolt I had. The opening is less than 1/2 inch.
