Great accessory to the BTF Lighting.
This remote works great. Very responsive, distance up to 20 feet with no issue. Good features allow access to the full function of my LED strips.

MAKE SURE YOU PROGRAM FIRST!
originally I thought there was something wrong with this unit. Upon speaking with the manufacturer I realized it was user error, and that same thing matches what some people have reported here. MAKE SURE YOU PROGRAM THE REMOTE FIRST. If you don't, you may have issues with the controller working properly. Once I programmed the remote, it worked perfectly! The range on the remote is great, and even works on the other side of my house, with the lights in the garage!Only thing I would suggest is to make it more obvious in the already confusing manual, to program the remote first!

Super easy!
The media could not be loaded. Nowhere near as many features as what you would get with WLED but it's very simple so it works great for a smaller project such as this.

Be careful of overloading the power supply
A previous review mentioned the controller becoming unresponsive after a short run. I had the same experience and sent one unit back. When the replacement failed the same way I did some troubleshooting. I used a 5V USB charger to power the unit connected to a 60 LED strip. It starts up all LEDs at full brightness and becomes unresponsive shortly after. With a smaller strip it works fine, and I was able to set the brightness and now it works fine with the 60 LED strip. I apologize for sending back the first unit. The instructions are very hard to understand...Thanks to other reviewers for explaining the operation.

works but directions suck.
Works well with the led strips i purchased. but no idea how to program it. there is no read out so i have no idea how to chose the various options as the directions only tell you how to get into the mood selection but not what they are or how to tell which one you choose. Rely on Youtube maybe to figure it out. I will.

Easy to use
I didn't do any programming with the unit. But otherwise very easy to use and it works with a few different brands of lights I tried

Great for LED testing
This makes it so much easier to test my pixels and LED strips vs connecting to a controller and PSU, especially when doing my Halloween-to-Christmas conversion and all my controllers/PSU's are already outside.

Works well
This RF controller is so much better than the IR controllers. No need to have an exposed IR sensor and point the controller in that direction.
