I originally purchased this product elsewhere with a pump-style dispenser. I purchased this version thinking I could remove the shaker style applicator and install the pump from the old bottle. It appears to be glued on and can’t be removed easily. The shaker top (more like a powdered sugar dispenser) doesn’t allow as much control of product application. A little goes a long way.

If you use too much, it can weigh your hair down, but when you apply it lightly at the roots, it gives great texture and lift that lasts. I’ve also had good results with other Big Sexy Hair products. Their root and volumizing products work especially well for thin hair without making it feel heavy or sticky. If you have fine hair and struggle with flat roots, this is a great product to try.

Another mom posted on a local Facebook group about this texturizing powder being on sale and how her son and many other of his friends use this product so we decided to give it a try. It definitely adds volume and texturizes the hair. However, it did leave his hair feeling pretty gritty which maybe that's what it's supposed to do. It is our first time using this type of a product. He however loved how it styled his hair and made the styling of his hair much easier for him. He has tried it even when his hair has been wet and then blow dried his hair and he said that he actually prefers to use it on his wet hair then blow dry versus the other way around. The boys will be boys. What can I say?

Good product but I spent 21 bucks on a container that is barely bigger than a piece of gum 😭😭

I just purchased this and love it. I watched a few videos and read a few reviews; the product is so easy to use and although others say it is in a small bottle for the price, a little bit goes a LONG way!!! I use it right after washing my hair and it is also effective on day 2 and 3 in between washes! As someone who is always wanting more volume in my hair, which is fine but I have a lot of, this product is SO GREAT!!! It does leave a slightly odd texture in your hair but it doesn’t bother me!!
