Burpee Raab Spring Broccoli Seeds 400 seeds

I started a four plants indoors in coco coir and transplanted them out. I didn't have a grow light, just a south facing window. They needed a couple skewers in the ground as impromptu stakes to hold them up initially as they were a little bit floppy/leggy. That resolved itself and the final result looks really nice.They survived three weeks of the brutal August heatwave we had here in PA without bolting and the main head is ready to come off of several plants.Do yourself a favor and grow your broccoli under an insect netting low tunnel or tent-y type thing of some kind. Or you'll be out picking off little green caterpillars and some darker striped ones from underneath the plants leaves. The former are the immature version of those generic white butterflies, also known as White Cabbage Butterfly, and the latter are probably from some brown nighttime moth I don't remember the name of. Anyway, there's nothing to pollinate, unless you're breeding broccoli for...whatever reason, so it doesn't matter if bees are excluded or not.

Super easy to grow. I planted multiple seeds expecting one or two to speout and to mt aurprise all 5 sprouted

I was excited to purchase this and was hoping for a nice harvest. The plants were beautiful and healthy, however, they barely produce any veggies. We researched and purchased the correct fertilizers and followed the instructions by the book and still barely a harvest. We will not be wasting our precious space sending this again. 😢

The seeds sprouted after a couple of days - much sooner than I anticipated. Unfortunately, I put it in the wrong medium and insects got to the baby leaves. I’ll try a different soil and area next year, and hopefully I have something harvest!

This germinated almost over night and in less than two weeks has edible leaves. Great flavor, fast grower. Growing this in a aeroponic system so YMMV.

Out of 400 seeds I didn't get one broccoli plant 😞

A total waste of money AND damaged my remaining crop except for the basil. It grew very quickly, flowered, and died, all in about six weeks. A month later, the weeks had spread to the rest of the garden and they spread even more. I lost my garden this year due to this menace.
