ILIFE Robotic vacuums, Pearl White

The media could not be loaded. I always wanted to try one of these robot hoovers out, since I found out they were out. I managed to get one of these out and I want to share what it is like to you guys.When you receive the item, you get plenty of accessories with the hoover and also I did read the manual as I wanted to make sure I knew how to use it before messing around with it. I placed the docking station on a safe place according to the manual and attached 2 aaa batteries to the remote which is included. I did then the hoover it self and placed it on the charging station to charge for a couple of hours.*Using itYou can program the robot when to clean using the remote. You can set times each day when it can clean for example and it will still do it even If you were away. Once it was fully charged, I used the remote to start it up. I was really chuffed to see it clean my room pretty well actually. It was really smart on avoiding to hit walls, cabinets and other things in my room. It does a really good job on sucking in the dust however, don't expect it to suck all the hair stuck on the carpet. It did clean most spots that it was able to go to which was really impressive. Not once did it ever got stuck anywhere and when I told it to go home, it drove to the docking station to charge. Once you are done using it, just have a check If the on board bin is full and discard it and you will be impressed how much it has actually cleaned your room. On the top of the hoover, you can press the clean button for it to start cleaning and as mentioned, you can press the hatch to access the little bin box it has inside.*Do I have to watch it all the time?Not really however, It all depends on your home. For my room, it never got stuck and it did a really good job on cleaning it out and docked back to the station once It was done and the battery life is really good too. As mentioned, you can set times for it to clean and you got to watch out If you do have animals as they probably wouldn't like this. It does a really good job on avoiding falling in the stairs and even objects in the room. Even when it cleaned under my table, it was able to get out without any problems.*Is it loud?Not as much as a big hoover (obviously). It's cleaning power considering the size is really good. I can easily still do my work in my room while this is going on and I did not mind it at all.*Does it do a good job?Yes it does actually. Once I finished using it, I did check on the box inside the hoover to chuck out the dirt of the floor. It collected a lot of dust and I was really shocked that It was able to suck all of that considering it's size. I was really happy with the performance of this hoover on this test.*Is it made well?It has a mostly plastic construction however I do believe this is normal for all hoovers anyway and It is pretty durable to be honest. Even if it hits walls and objects, I am sure this hoover will last for years even If it is used for a lot. it has some good weight to it as well, so you can tell the motor and battery are top notch.Would I recommend one?YES!. It is such a brilliant thing to have and actually really useful For carpet or solid floors, it performs really well. It will do the odd clean and would keep your house mostly less dusty than If you just left it. It wouldn't replace the actual big hoover but it did a really good job in my room and it feels much cleaner than before For the price, it has loads of feature and is made really well, There is additional accessories when the ones you got for your hoover is out of use and you can just easily replace it with this. I am sure most people who get this will absolutely love it.

This is a superb value robotic hoover, I'm absolutely delighted with it.Have had an interest in robotics hoovers for a few years - thought it was a great technological idea, and my mum got one a couple of years ago. However, always think they struggle to justify the cost - some of the high end machines are best part of a grand, which even if they leave the place spotless, is simply not worth the money.This is brings robotic hoovers down to the affordable, while being very effective.Setup was very easy. There are extra functions on it, but you can pretty much plug in the charging dock, the vacuum clear, and click the clean button, and it'll just start working away.It works at a fairly random looking pattern - I wouldn't expect it look as if you had run a normal hoover over it right away, but the advantage is switching it on and letting it run while you're out/busy elsewhere, and just let it plug away while expending no effort. Approaching it like this, you'll come back and see very clear carpets, as will have gone over everywhere several times.Battery life seems to be very good, 1.5-2 hours each time I've used it. The dust compartment needs emptied fairly frequently, but again, if you can get in a mentality of running this more often than doing the hoovering as a normal chore, then it doesn't really matter, as you don't get the same build up.This is ably assisted by the planning mode, allowing you to schedule in when to kick off cleaning, so the robot can be busily hoovering away while you're at work.There are additional useful modes - in particular spot cleaning, and wall cleaning modes - that more expensive hoovers don't often have. I found the wall clean in particular great - with the brushes that flick out from the sides of the robot, it really scoops up a lot of detritus that is in against the wall very nicely.The robot looks pretty sleek, and is also lightweight and easy to move around, so brilliant for transporting between floors of a house as necessary.In summary, this is a superb piece of kit. Incredibly competitive in an emerging market, it's great to see this kind of quality and feature set delivered for such a low price - highly recommended.

Bought this on a bit of a whim, "yeah, let's give one a try". Other reviews were pretty good, so worth a try.My verdict:- it's pretty good at the basics, pleasantly surprised me. Hard floors, low-pile carpets, it will pick up a decent amount of dust and fluff.- pet hair, it just can't handle, doesn't pick up much of it at all... then again, neither does my Dyson vac with its "pet hair turbo brush" so that's no sleight on this little beastie!- battery life isn't great, I reckon about 90 minutes working time in reality before it trundles back home for a rest- it is prone to sucking up any small cable, bag strap, etc on the floor and getting stuck; it does however stop and switch off when it realises it's stuck which is good- being low to the ground, it doesn't handle floor level changes (e.g. wood to higher carpet) terribly well and may get stuck between rooms- don't let it loose in a large area (e.g. the whole floor of the house), it will probably get lost somewhere and probably run out of battery before it gets home! I let it loose in one or two rooms at a time and close the door or put a plank across to limit its travels- the dust tank is ridiculously small, clearly meant for cleaning very clean floors! It's full after about 30 mins here and the robot doesn't detect that and stop, so it then spends the rest of its time dropping dust in little piles as it goes around.Conclusion - it's a great idea, works pretty well in very tame situations, but doesn't cope with the real world quite so well. A version with a few tweaks like a larger dust tank, better brushes to dislodge hair & fluff and stop when full, could be really good.

I had a Shark vacuum previously until it just stopped working. Was looking for something that was comparable and found this. Actually, this works much better than the Shark. Picks up cat hair, dust, litter tracks and other debris like a charm. This actually reaches into the corners as well, (the Shark did not at all). The noise from the vacuum is tolerable, and doesn't bump into this as hard as the Shark did. It's actually not loud at all. It comes with a remote, so you don't have to worry about hooking it up to an app to set up a cleaning schedule, plus it gives you the option to navigate it to any place you'd like it to go to pick something up right away instead of waiting for it to run over it during the course of the run time. You have the option to let it rest on the charger port to recharge or you can plug it directly into the vacuum using the same cord. The only issue I've noticed is that the brushes on the vacuum will tangle up in any loose cords so to be sure to secure them before use. As with any robo vacuum, it may get stuck from time to time depending on the height of your furniture. If you do notice it, just take steps to insure that it can't access those places if you're running it whenever you're not around to help it out. Overall it is a great vacuum and a great price. I even recommend this to a friend and she purchased one for her home as well.

La verdad que con varios perritos en casa que sueltan pelo no me esperaba el buen resultado que me está dando este robot aspirador. Sólo tengo que tener en cuenta vaciarlo hacia la mitad de la carga porque el depósito ya está lleno. Pero claro hay que tener en cuenta que no tenemos sólo un perro.

Easy to program and handles the pet hair. Fits under most of the furniture.
