Exactly what I wanted. This larger size is good for some large bonsai and as a drainage layer for most bonsai except small trees.

How is this rock akadama...
I only took two big scoop( sandwiches bag size) from the bag and found this much rock in it..At first I thought it was hard akadama but it wasn't, even hit them with hammer and didn't brake so I knew it was rock.And everytime I scoop few came out.To make the bag heavier they put quater(coin) size rock in it,, Isn't this scam?

Product as described its just bigger then I thought it would be. But at least now I know what size I should get next.

Did they scrape this out of a construction site?
Was disappointed in this batch - only started to pick through it after dumping the bag into a bin. Smelled like musty crawl space dirt. Just off the top, a handful of gravel and pebbles and even man made debris (broken tiles?). I hate that I dumped this on top of the decent, clean akadama that was already in the bin. What the heck?
