GLENCAIRN Whiskey and Gin Mixer Glass in Gift Carton

Merely perfect in shape and material

This Glencairn whiskey and gin mixed glass is a solid addition to my collection. Not only is it great for drinking bourbon neat, but it also works well for scotch ales, stouts, and mixed drinks for my wife. The shape of the glass enhances the aromatics, so whatever you’re drinking, you’re getting the full experience. The quality of the crystal is impressive. It has a nice heavy base with some real mass to it—none of that flimsy, delicate stuff. It’s also held up in the dishwasher about 50 times now, which is more than I can say for some other glassware I’ve owned. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that they don’t sell them in packs of four, which would have been a better option than buying them individually. Other than that, no issues.

Brings to your nose nasal enjoyment of Aroma of beers and liquor.

Very nice shape. Big enough to fit ice easily and accommodate a big pour. Perfect to get good nose smell before tasting, but can be hard on nose after tasting if a strong bite to smell. That's not the glasses fault if your Bourbon has a lot of bite....

Very nice glass! It does have the Glencairin motive on the bottom.

One of the previous reviews called it a “knock off” as it doesn’t have the Canadian maple leaf. As an American that doesn’t drink Canadian whiskies I really prefer it doesn’t have it. As you can see from the photo. It seems to be the right thickness and not a cheap glass. Haven’t tried it for function yet. Just a first impression. I’m happy !

Realça o sabor

An sich schönes mixer Glas für Whisky Liebhaber. Aroma entfaltet sich gut im Glas. Ein Stern Abzug, da das Kanadische Ahornblatt, nicht wie auf der Abbildung der Verpackung, auf dem Glasboden vorhanden war.

Premessa che ho anche il Glencairn più stretto e lungo di questo, però per come bevo il whisky e per il tipo di whisky che bevo (Lagavulin 1997 e Lagavulin 2000) questo è il bicchiere ideale, così fresco non freddo, puro e senza giaccio, viene fuori tutto quel gusto affumicato, torbato, bello al palato. È così magnifique che l’ho regalato anche al mio cognato Antonio Ramirez a Los Palacios (Sevilla) in Spagna che è un buongustaio.
