Peppa Pig's Lights & Sounds Family Home Feature Playset

I got this as a birthday gift for my 4yr old son. He loves Peppa Pig and has his own little collection of Peppa Pig toys. This house was something he had been wanting for quite some time now. He was so excited when we pulled it out of the box. It came assembled, nothing to put together or pop in/on. 2 separate bags of accessories and 1 bag with characters (Peppa, George & Zoe Zebra.) Everything was there, I checked. At first, I thought we would have to return it, because the floor mat wasn't working as it was supposed to. But its just because it was on "Try Me" mode. Switched it to on and everything works as it should. The directions dont even mention that switch and the try me mode. Its on the back of the house. My son loves it and has been playing with it since he opened it. Its kind of pricey, but its worth it for the enjoyment he gets out of it. 5 stars!

I’m dying over how cute this little Peppa Pig house is! As someone who has seen every episode 100 times thanks to my 2-year-old, I’m impressed by how many little details from the show are in this little home! My child love that it lights up and makes noise. She can combine all of her other Peppa accessories to use along with what came with this house to keep her entertained for seriously hours. I think it was a great price for what it does and how well it helps entertain her! I would buy again in a heartbeat or gift to another Peppa loving child.

We got this house for $35 and what a great buy! My 2 year old is just now getting into Peppa but this house quickly became her favorite Christmas gift. She lives taking the pieces out and rearranging. I have to say she doesn’t really care about the sounds so I do wish it had more lights on it (only the lamp in the living room lights up) but for the price we can’t complain. Like other reviews mention don’t forget to change off Try me mode (the most annoying thing on a toy). Came with a lot of furniture and a few characters. I think $45 would be a fair price for this. We even bought a few room sets to go with it but honestly you don’t need it. The house is the perfect all around gift. If your kid is into Peppa and likes a little role playing this is a fantastic toy!

Well, maybe not exactly. It did come in a frustration free box (great for unpacking) so it didn't have the packaged appeal. I purchased it for my son's birthday so I took it out of the box (did say Peppa Pig on box but did now show image) and wrapped it out of the box. All the pieces that was included were packaged in plastic bags and stuffed in the attic section of the house which made wrapping it easy.I purchased this about a month ago and it is still the "go to" toy for ALL THREE of my kids (8, 7 & 4). I do often hear them arguing over it - as a parent it's not a good thing to have the kids arguing over a toy but from a toy maker point of view it's a GREAT thing that they have a hit product. I think it is important to point out that they ALL want to play with it - Even if I think a piece of plastic is expensive... if it brings this much joy to not only the birthday boy but both his siblings... it was WELL WORTH the money! And arguing over toys isn't a bad thing - it teaches them to problem solve and work things out on their own which is a very important childhood lesson.

I rarely write reviews but figured this one was worth it. I read reviews lights and sounds didn't work. I ordered anyway hoping I wouldn't get a dud. Well sure enough, out of the box only the doorbell and lamp worked until...... I noticed there was a switch on the back with ON, OFF and "TRY ME" modes. Item was delivered in "TRY ME" mode. Before you return it, double check that the item is on. After I turned in on, worked like a charm. Super cute play set. I would purchase again.

I was initially worried about purchasing this item due to some of the other reviews noting that the sound/light effects didn't work. However, the quality looked better than the smaller Peppa house (non-electronic) and comes with a bunch of cute accessories. I felt it was worth the price to take a chance (I had decided not to mention the lights and sounds to my grandchild if they didn't work).When the house arrived, I tested the lights/sounds right away (after putting in fresh batteries). At first, only the doorbell sound and living room light worked (the muddy puddle did nothing). I went online and started searching and luckily came across a review on another site where someone mentioned the power switch in the back of the house (near the bottom right). There are 3 settings: on-off-tryme (demo). It was set by default to the TRYME (demo) setting. When I switched it to the ON position, everything worked!!! This also came with 3 figures (Peppa, George and a friend) and all of the accessories in the picture on this Amazon page.The only drawbacks are that the house came in a standard packing/shipping box (with protective cushioning pieces inside) and not the fancy retail box I've seen in pictures on other sites for this product. I did not mark my rating down for this one. The other problem is that the attic ladder will not stay in the up position, but I think I can easily jerry-rig a fix for this. I did take off one rating star for this, since it doesn't work as designed out of the box.Overall, I'm very happy with this item and have no regrets in purchasing it. I am confident that my grandchild -- a huge Peppa fan -- will have many hours of fun with it.

Though more on the expensive side, my child loves this play house and has all her toys visit peppa pig. She acts out stories from the show and loves setting up the pieces in each room. It’s surprisingly more durable than I thought, my 3 yr old is not rough with it but it holds up to my 9 month old who likes to grab everything out and shake it and stand up holding the house. Buttons and sounds work perfectly though my child doesn’t really care if it’s turned off. The active buttons are a flower in front, the muddy puddle, and the door mat. The on off switch is on the back at the bottom left corner. It has OFF, Demo, and ON mode, not well labeled but If it’s only saying 1 phrase then it’s demo mode. There should be 4-5 saying and laughter.
