Brilliant
Brilliant book for teaching about body boundaries, my 5 year old really got into practising what he learned in this.

Great for opening a conversation with my little one
I found this book to be really helpful in explaining body boundaries and consent with my 4 year old. It’s helped them visualise what their ‘body boundary’ is in a simple and clear way that’s hopefully stuck!

Incredible and necessary!
I absolutely love this book.My daughter is only 21 months but it’s never too early to start introducing consent and respect! We read through it together, talk about the images and she’s now began repeating bits to me, for example I’ll point to the girl who doesn’t want a kiss and she will say “she’s sad” and when I ask why she replies “don’t want kiss, want hi five”. It shows me she is beginning to understand parts of the book, she has also started to tell us no if we ask for a hug or kiss and she’s not in the mood, which is great, as she’s learning her body is hers. As the book says “your body is yours, and you are the boss of it!”.I think this book is a great foundation and starting point for any parent. The illustrations are great too, although this probably is aimed at older children, it’s definitely engaging for toddlers thanks to the beautiful imagery!

Brilliant Book
I purchased this book after it was highly recommended by Adam Whittington (if you don’t already follow him on Instagram - it’s a must!). this is a brilliant book, it’s written so well and in a way that really engages my 3 year old. These subject are so important for our children to know and understand. I will be purchasing more books from this author.

Empowering for children
This book gives some good introductory child relevant examples of times when boundaries and consent could be needed. It refers to boundaries and personal space which are described as body bubbles etc. My child practiced drawing her bubble around her and then said about times she felt like hers had been “popped” when people sometimes come too close etc. I am hoping it helps build her confidence to say no at times when she needs/ wants to.

Fab book
I bought this book to share with children I work with in a school setting. This words are child friendly and the illustrations work alongside the words to help support teaching this tricky topic.
