Q: What are the dimensions of this cover?

A loose fit 35cm diameter 80cm high. Looks like the picture.

Q: Do you lift the bottle and put it in the bag that way? I just got mine but putting over the bottle doesnt work as the connection is in the way

No we put the bag over the gas bottle Ours fits fine over the full gas bottle We just unzip the top to get to the connector

No. The bag is not insulated. Mine was purchased to cover a red propane bottle, which can be used in cold weather. Not, a blue butane bottle, which freezes in the cold.
