Kirkland Signature Milk Chocolate, Raisins, 54 Ounce x 2 (Pack of 2)

Loved the aroma when I first opened this and the flavor profile was the best of any I've eaten in years, the chocolate melted in my mouth as it should and was not chalky or waxy as are some other chocolate coatings, I keep these in a cooler room of the house during the winter because the I like the texture of the chocolate 'cracking or breaking' as I chew before melting into a smooth creamy deliciousness. I felt like this is the way chocolate used to be made to perfection before a loss of craftsmanship or profit motive led to lesser quality ingredients or additives. The only complaint I have is that they are too sweet after eating more than a few they become cloying to my tastes but others may like the sweetness.

I couldn't find one raisin that had the chocolate fall off whether in manufacturing or in shipment. The raisins are plump, flavorful, and fresh. I've loved chocolate-covered raisins nearly my whole life, and as good as many of them were/are, these are the best! The chocolate is creamy, literally melts in the mouth, and the thickness of the chocolate is perfect.

I've seen a lot of reviews about possible discoloration due to freezing, so full context; ordered and shipped to me during late fall, local high this week was 50f, and they hadn't been frozen before shipping as far as I can tell. May have different results during the summer!They're exactly what I wanted from chocolate covered raisins; nice and chocolaty, good sized raisins, good texture and flavor.For those who wondered, the label mentions that they're made in the USA, contain milk and soy and were processed on equipment that comes into contact with wheat, peanuts, and tree nuts.If you can grab these at Costco, they're usually cheaper there, but if not, these seem worth the Amazon price.

I've tried several brands of chocolate covered raisins and Kirkland brand is always the best!! Great tasting chocolate and good size raisins. Yummmmmm!!

Who doesn't like chocolate? Put that around a raisin and have a tiny treat. I, like most folks, should select snacks that satisfy the need but avoid excesses. Excellent choice.

UPDATE- so these arrived May 8, 2020 they were gone by June 8, 2020. I bought a few boxes of raisinets for the family after these were all gone and everyone agreed they would not eat them they wouldn’t even touch them all they wanted was the Kirkland raisins covered in chocolate so I have to say these are a major hit in this house. They are the freshest the most juiciest and have the most chocolate on them of any chocolate covered raisins we have tried so far.I have never been a fan of raisins and I’ve always hated chocolate covered raisins I’ve tried them a couple times when I was younger and I was absolutely disgusting I don’t know if my tastes have changed or if I just have had the best chocolate covered raisins ever My husband is in love with chocolate covered raisins and always has been I finally tried a handful of these and I must say I absolutely love them even or 16-month-old adores them and she is an extremely picky eater so I have to see if they can change me into a chocolate covered raisin love her then they’re pretty dag blame good. I received this product today and extremely impressed with shipping. Since it is chocolate covered raisins and it has been extremely hot here in the Southeast, I thought they would be one big ball of melted chocolate. It was the opposite, the container was wrapped in insulation with a cold pack. The cold pack was completely melted, but the chocolate raisins were perfect. The care and quality of the product is greatly appreciated and highly recommended.
