Yasutomo Bokuju Liquid Ink - 12oz Sumi Ink for Calligraphy and Artwork - Black Drawing Ink for use with Japanese Ink Brushes and Dip Pens

I do a lot of ink on watercolor paper and this ink is by far my favorite. Brushes nice and works beautifully with dip pens. I have also gelli printed with it. Very nice ink.

nice quality ink, good for art and calligraphy, a dark rich black color that can be washed out with water to create gray washes. Its easy to use with the spout and its a good amount of ink for the cost

I liked the richness and flow of this ink for modern calligraphy but I ended up returning it due to the smell. Unfortunately Sumi inks are too potent for my sensitive nose and always ends up giving me a headache when used.

Great quality ink. The bottle is genius how it dispenses ink. Makes it leak proof and difficult to spill. It also allows for controlled pouring of the quantity of ink.

I'm a Japanese Calligrapher and I like this Sumi Ink for painting my Japanese Calligraphy pieces.

I use this ink with a dip pen and it works exceptionally well. I got it hoping it would work with alcohol markers and that it does. Can’t wait to order more in a couple years when this bottle runs out. This is one of my first inks so I don’t have much to compare it to, but from my experience, I like it 👍
