Exactly what I needed. Great for home/small office
Brilliant!! Does what it says. Can easily take 10-12 sheets of paper at a time. Card, I would recommend 2-4 depending on thickness to prevent jamming. Not as loud as I expected, but not quiet. Good size, which means it doesn’t need emptying after 1/2/3 uses. The auto shut off is great to prevent overheating and the reverse switch works well, however because this shredder loves eating paper, be certain you are shredding the right paperwork before popping it into the shredder. I have used this to shred old credit/debit cards and works a treat. Staples are no bother either. Highly recommend for a home/small office. Through my own fault I did experience a paper jam, but with the right long neck screwdriver you can take it apart and unclog it and it works again. The size is great and fits perfectly under my desk to the side so is in easy reach. Definitely recommend.

An OK shredder. Value for money
What denotes 10 pages? Definitely not A4 80GSM which is pretty box standard. One major issue is that the unit struggles with more than 6 sheets at a time and will soon stop and complain of motor getting too hot.I've had a major clear out of many years worth of documentation. In fact 4 sacks of old stuff. It has done the task, but tends to need time to cool down. Occasionally switching to reverse to aid clearing the cutters. It's a bit noisy, but none moreso than other low priced units.Value for money is good, but not excellent.Ease of use is a three position switch, a slot to feed paper and a bin in in which the shredder sits. A window aids seeing the rising cut paper. I tend to compact by hand and continue, rather than emptying as the paper fills the bin.I'm pleased but not impressed, having said that it is more capable than my previous cheap Tesco one that struggled with thicker single sheets. This will tolerate thin card.In conclusion treat 10 sheets as an absolute, 3 - 5 being reasonable, occasionally reverse and put a couple of single sheets through to remove any bits stuck on the cutter.Would I buy again? Difficult question, as the price was OK, and it has done a lot of work in the few days I've owned it.

Phenomenal shredding
My guilty pleasure is that I like to shred paper. That pleasure had become a chore when my trusty 5 sheet Rexel shredder became a 3 sheet shredder, then a 1 sheet reluctant shredder owing to overuse over a 20+ year period. I accumulated a pile of personal documents that needed shredding following a home office reorganisation, and the thought of spending hours on end babysitting my trusty (but reluctant) 1 page Rexel shredder filled me with dread. Time for an upgrade. What an upgrade it has been. The Bonsai 10 page shredder tore through the heaving pile of paper as if it was on a mission. Up to 10 sheets a time without complaint or jam, and the stack of paperwork was done in barely 10 minutes. The collection bin was full by now.I'm delighted by my investment in this shredder, only wish I upgraded sooner. As others have observed, the collection bin is a little flimsy, but once the shredder unit itself is placed on top, it's a robust paper devouring machine.

Not worth the money.
Bought this to shred confidential waste eg bank statements and the like. When it arrived it was easy to set up. Put a few sheets through which it dealt with easily , it automatically turns off after a while to stop it overheating which is good. After the first use we emptied the bin cleaned all the paper out which was about 2 weeks ago. Went to use it today put one sheet through which it managed when we tried a second the paper got jammed at two sides, only upon looking on google did I find other had the same issue and had to get oil to resolve the issue. There is a label on the front that mentions about blocks & jams but it is very small writing so not easy to read.It should be made clear in the manual that before you use this to buy some oil and oil the blades as I did not know this I have now had to order some to be able to use. Overall it is not a bad product but if you do buy this make sure you buy oil for it and oil it before use.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update: received the oil for the item and it still is blocked and wont work- so now having to return as it is still not working . I would recommend paying more for a different brand - make sure you do your research .

Light shredding only
This is a very good shredder for light work. My only two issues with this shredder is the over heating and the speed. The reason I think it over heats is because the shredded paper compresses itself in the grooves where the teeth rotate. I found that I had to remove the clogged paper my self using long nosed pliers. Although it says it can shred up to 10 sheets of paper, I found it struggled with 4 or 5 so I started shredding 3 sheets at a time

A robust and competent machine.
I’ve not had a great track record when it comes to shredding machines, many (5) barely last 6 months before giving up the ghost, even expensive ones. I have found that brands that state ‘can shred up to 10 sheets at a time’ in reality, mean only if those 10 sheets were tissue paper. anything heavier and paper jamming and overheating were commonplace. So, it was with some trepidation that I bought this shredder as I had accumulated a large amount of previous years accounts/paperwork etc that really needed to be securely disposed of. I’ve now had this unit for about five weeks and have really put it through its paces and it has ‘behaved’ beautifully. I’ve filled 10 bin bags of paper waste in that time, allowing for the occasional cooling down period, although admittedly not taking it to the 10 sheet max, probably 4/5 sheets at a time, but it has handled all the shredding impressively. Just how long the unit will last remains to be seen but I have high hopes seeing how much I’ve shredded to date and lighter use now expected. So I’m happy with this buy.
