Perfect fit
Perfect fit on my 1997 Mariner Mag III. Previous owner put in a generic one, so I replaced with this one and it fits and works perfectly

Power Trim Switch
I have a 1998 Force 90 hp outboard. I could see that there was a spot for a Power Trim Switch in the cowling, but I was not sure that I could add this switch. It turns out that I was able to remove the plastic blank from the motor cowling and add this switch. I was able to connect to the existing wiring harness, and bam. Now I don't have to climb into the boat to raise and lower the motor. I am very happy I purchased this switch and it seems to work very well. If your Mercury or Force outboard motor will accept this switch, it is well worth purchasing. It is also the factory replacement, if you already have a switch installed and it is no longer functioning.

Keep retaining clip to reuse
This item fits a 1996 Mercury force 120 hp outboard motor. One of the bullet terminal was broken as I need to troubleshoot to find it. I cut this broken connector off and crimped on a new one. Worked as expected. Had it not come with a broken bullet connect, it would've been 5 stars.It did not come with any instructions.
